Ehh...if Kuyt were to be replaced, then players of a similar level (i.e. not generational greats/very good players in that generation) will need to be replaced. This basically includes Malouda. Everyone else IMO is a fair fit for the legacy level.
Yup. Already noted.

Replace DavidG's Legacy pick. Kuyt is a decent legacy player, but his scouser links may well make him rated even less and potentially barely above a sheep. Maybe replace him with Cocu.
Replace Malouda with someone slightly better, say Eder. Makes it a bit more tactically challenging too (that is if harms wants it)

I assume it's the Brazil one, not Italian or Portuguese? I'll take him, thanks, Malouda is a little bit boring

I'll take Luis Suárez Miramontes (and Joga's vote by definition)

@harms if you wanna swap Malouda for Eder, please go ahead. Or you can choose to continue with Malouda too.
Eder as in the Brazilian wing forward who was a vital part of the one of the greatest international sides of all time?

 Not to get involved as I'm not playing but that's a very good upgrade and puts Eder as the best player in the round. Not only because he has 50 odd caps for a great Brazil team but he's also very flexible and can play a couple of positions which is great for a legacy pick. He's miles better than Wes Brown IMO.

Feel someone like petit or nicky Butt would be better fits for the criteria personally

At the end of Tevezobola, all teams will have 7 players each. They need to recruit minimum 7 more players in an open auction format bringing total team strength to minimum of 14. No Maximum team limit

A01 - $210m budget with minimum 7 players to be picked.
A02 - Mandatory pick (minimum) of 1 "youth" player born after 1990
A03 - Players born before 01-Jan-1945 will have minimum starting bid of $20m
A04 - GoalKeeper's start off minimum bid of $20m.
A05 - 12 hrs without up-bid to be successful.
A06 - $2m minimum up-bid for first 8 hours. $5m minimum up-bid for last 4 hours.

Note: You cannot bid over available budget at any time. In case anyone exceeds their budget, one of their DoFI GOAT players (at random) will be released back into the pool as compensation. No change to bids placed (even though they are over budget already).
If a manager submits a player/a bid at a fixed price, are the bids confidential (PM) or not (updated here in the thread) ?
How many players to be submitted at once?

More details would be the welcome :)

I don't think it's unreasonable as such that there's a bit of quality wise difference between the Legacy players. That's rub of the green, etc. Same with the DoF players. You can luck out and get Beckenbauer - or be dealt a relatively shitty hand compared to that immense standard. Part of the game, that - and we all get four rounds to get lucky/unlucky in, so it should even out.

The gap can't be too big, though - that's obvious. Now, quality wise I don't think you can claim that Kuyt sticks out like a sore thumb. He does bring plenty of useful qualities to the table. With him it's more the danger that voters could be downright prejudiced against him - which is obviously a huge disadvantage for his manager. To what extent the latter is true when it comes to the people who actually vote in these things, is another matter. As suggested above, the Liverpool factor isn't that crucial in drafts.

Agreed.

Decent player and I have always won with him in the last draft: one game, one success

What's the time limit between picks?

It's been over 8 hours.

Despite all that Eder never gets credit as a stand alone wing forward outside of that setup. He's almost never picked even in criteria based drafts and in the world of all time wing forwards not really a top pick.

Eder is a great pick. Knowing @harms he would sell him well and put a lot of info on him. Have no issues with the swap and always good to see a new face in the draft

Already found a ridiculous shot I didn't know about - the quality of footage is not great, but he hit the fecking post! It would've been a close contender to you know who's free-kick against France if it went in

They need to recruit minimum 7 more players in an open auction format bringing total team strength to minimum of 14. No Maximum team limit

Open auction means that all bids are visible and posted in the thread (with an alert to an outbid manager)
No restriction of the amount of players, which means that you can bid on from one to 210 players theoretically (assuming that 1 million is a minimum bid)

@harms

Thanks for the reply. So, you can lose your player Luis Suarez Miramontes?

I thought only 7 players were subject to an open auction process.

It's not 7*15=105 the maximal number of possible bids?

Great curve, he indeed has one helluva shot.

Having in mind some of the 50's or 60's footie highlights the quality is great. You can almost see the players numbers :)
