Ferguson is very hittable so McGregor would have a better chance in this match. It feels like a loop. I feel:

McGregor can beat Ferguson
Ferguson can beat Khabib
Khabib can beat McGregor
Hehe. Good old rock/paper/scissors. That's why MMA is so interesting. The old adage that "styles make fights" is so true. It's never as simple as A > B and B > C so A > C.

They can all technically beat one another under the right circumstances but in most instances Conor would be at the bottom of the pecking order since both Tony and Khabib are far more versatile and multi-dimensional in their fight skills..

Agreed. Khabib with the best chance of beating the other 2 imo. He's just so fecking dominant.

Never said it's near as bad or not. Just wondering people's stance on "you can say whatever you want to promote a fight".

Didn't he call two black security guards monkeys and told Mayweather to "dance for me boy" and also throw around some homophobic slurs in the past?

I don't pay attention to these pressers too much, I pretty much just watch the fights so I may be wrong on this but McGregor seems like a racist, homophobic bigot.
When did he call black people monkeys?

He called Floyd's security juiced up monkeys.

I think it was more a poor choice of word rather than any racial connotation.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Dana said somewhere that Conor and his team were escorted from the building before the press conference for security reasons. They didn't want both teams hanging around the building for too long. Nevada State Athletic Commission interviewed Conor and then they all left, hence no interviews.
That's just Dana being overly safe. Conor could've easily come out and given a few words like Khabib did but I guess the cash cow needed a bit of extra protection in case he gets himself arrested again.

They were white!
My bad. I just saw him do it in the press conference thing they did in the ring.
In general, I've always seen Floyd's security as a mix of white and black.
Either way, like I said, not really racist. A bit stupid at times.

He called Dennis Siver a Nazi too and his comment to Aldo about riding into his favela on horseback was obviously a loaded one as well. There's no doubt that he has a history of racially loaded comments.
After Saturday it's obvious that's his fight plan. He needs the opponent to come at him while ignoring their own fight plan giving him the opportunity for his left.

Connor spent his whole career acting gangster and running his mouth and his fan boys cheered him on all the way. When he finally runs into a real badass his fan boys cry, that's not fair and people should be banned. All hilarious to me. Like a school bully meeting his match then everyone feeling sorry for him.

Khabib doesn't care about material things. Things like his heritage and honour mean more to him. There's a man with principles.
Are there Conor fan boys in here ? I can't find one.

Nobody feels sorry for Conor. Everybody knows what he is. Nobody defended him for the bus incident but loads seem to use it as a reason to defend Khabib's actions.

Khabib ? A man with principles? Are you for real ? You really need to brush up on your mma knowledge or lack of. He's a prick of the highest order.

As is Conor.

I think like that as well or I would have thought so 12 months ago when Conor was actually in shape.

So Dana White already softening his stance, saying he understands why khabib was so riled up and just lost control in the heat of the moment.

Tbf he didn't say "in here" but there undoubtedly are some. Quite amusing to look back a few pages and see comments like "Khabib has no chance on the feet" and my favourite "I don't see how (McGregor) doesn't ko him in round one".

The UFC will definitely do the rematch at some point since one event with Conor and Khabib will earn them what 6 other PPV events without them would.

Unless McGregor is serious about the lightweight belt, which I would doubt, he should move on from Khabib. I thought it would be one sided, but I was only half correct as I thought McGregor would dominate. We absolutely have to see Khabib fight Ferguson now. McGregor should fight Anderson Silva, be nothing if not entertaining...

Is that really true though? I don't think I've heard any fan say they want a rematch and most fans want Ferguson-Khabib. I think Conor's drawing potential is directly linked to him actually knocking people out. When he gets completely dominated in his one fight in two years, I think his star is on the wane.

Conor should fight someone like Kevin Lee. No more hollywood fights until he proves he is up for it. Lee would be the ideal stepping stone to justify a match between the Tony / Khabib winner.

The UFC cares about making money so they will be incentived to get Conor back into the Octagon sooner rather than later. The PPV buys when he fights are somewhere in the 1.6 - 2m range compared with about 300-400k for the average non-Conor card. Ultimately it’s a necessary business decision for them to make money.

Any and every fight McGregor is going to sign up for will be pure Hollywood though, we know this. Diaz McGregor II was one of the best fights the UFC has had in recent years and had no title implications as it was at 170. Not sure the casuals that tune in in their drones for McGregor fights want to see Kevin Lee.

Feel we should all be discussing Khabib now anyway, what an absolute animal he is. Ferguson is absolutely the fight to do next but UFC will probably be tempted to do the McGregor rematch as it would be a bigger fight.

He just fought in the biggest fight of all time after losing to Floyd. He had one of the biggest fights if all time v Nate after comprehensively losing the first.
Just seems like wishful thinking to me

Like I said, that was all dependent on Conor being top dog, which he clearly isn't now. Personally I bet his PPV pull for the future will be much lower than it was in the past. I think Khabib-Ferguson will outdraw whoever Conor fights next.

A lot of casual fans like myself have no more interest in paying for Conor fights either at home or at sport bars. Khabib-Ferguson is what more fans want.

Conor could fight me next and he'd draw twice as much as Khabib v Tony.

I don't think so, McGregor has had more PPV's than Khabib and Ferguson combined... One thing McGregor is undisputed best in the business at.

On other news Kavanagh is on JRE right now alongside some bro science nutrition fraud.
30 mins in after the biggest fight in the history of UFC he has completely ignored McGregors fecking coach and has rambled on about red meat.
He actually turned away from Kavanagh to continue the conversation at one point!

Edit beaten to it
