Can someone explain this?
June 1st is tomorrow. Why would we offer more if it's the players decision. I could understand it if the release clause would be two months away which would give other teams time to convince Dalot to sign for them but this is tomorrow...
It doesn't matter in slightest only reason to negotiate with players club could be to agree on a payment structure in installments for slightly higher fee instead of paying release clause in lumpsum other wise it's irrelevant if we already have an agreement with the player.Because after june 1st - any club can throw in a bid and might snatch the player right under our noses. Before that - they need to negotiate a deal with the club
Have you learnt nothing about our transfer business under Mourinho? All the talk was about Fabinho and Morata last season, and we ended up getting Matic and Lukaku done with little fuss. Smokescreens everywhere.Hard to believe that in a summer where all of Lewandowski, Bale, Griezmann, Higuain, Ronaldo etc might move clubs, we would decide to go for Arnautovic. It can't be true.
Hi. My head looks like I’ve a rubber glove stretched over it.Tweet

Now Mr Perez, go get KloppTweet

Can't see that happening. I reckon Perez will want to carry on winning trophies. Now Mr Perez, go get Klopp

He's had a taste of management and it's not for him. Not really a quitter but probably thinks that this is the best he'll get.Wow, what a quitter. So he doesn’t think the group can continue to win so quits. Why not prove you’re a good manager and rebuild? Doesn’t want to deal with the strong personalities
So you hold guardiola in the same regard?Wow, what a quitter. So he doesn’t think the group can continue to win so quits. Why not prove you’re a good manager and rebuild? Doesn’t want to deal with the strong personalities
Smart move. Sell Jorginho and buy his replacement for half the price. A bit of a different player, but i wouldnt mind here, even if he is quite shortThe player has a €25m clause that expires next 30 of June, and to get him Napoli would be thinking about paying more (up to 30m) in a similar situation than it has been for Patrik Schick last year.Tweet

He doesn’t think that he is the right man to keep them winning. Thinks they need a new manager to move forward. Nothing wrong with that. Why drag them down if you don’t think you can do it? Sensible decision.Wow, what a quitter. So he doesn’t think the group can continue to win so quits. Why not prove you’re a good manager and rebuild? Doesn’t want to deal with the strong personalities
The last time he over stayed, he ended up head butting Marco Materazzi. Maybe if he over stays at Madrid,he might just knock out Perez with an upper cut one evening. Smart move to quit now.Wow, what a quitter. So he doesn’t think the group can continue to win so quits. Why not prove you’re a good manager and rebuild? Doesn’t want to deal with the strong personalities
No, he knows this team is full of aging players who need replaced and he hasn’t got the stomach for it, that’s how it looks to me.its the “players need a change” that does it for me. Fergie would have questioned their hunger and booted a few outHe doesn’t think that he is the right man to keep them winning. Thinks they need a new manager to move forward. Nothing wrong with that. Why drag them down if you don’t think you can do it? Sensible decision.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an argument about BaleI think the board at Real Madrid and Zidane have disagreements over transfers given their league form this season.
There's too much noise from above to allow any capable manager to rebuild at Real.Wow, what a quitter. So he doesn’t think the group can continue to win so quits. Why not prove you’re a good manager and rebuild? Doesn’t want to deal with the strong personalities
A bit different as Barca still had a lot of players in their prime. This Madrid team is nearing its endSo you hold guardiola in the same regard?

But both of them will join the benchOne of the reasons Pep's teams tend to be so dangerous is that he buys and or uses penetrative players a lot. Players that can cut through tight spaces with intelligence, passes or dribbles. It's also why his teams look good on the eye. Imagine Mahrez and Jarginho joining KDB, Sane and Fernandinho.
It doesn't really work like that. If Mahrez is playing then Sterling or Sane will be benched, who are just as good. If Jorginho is playing, perhaps D.Silva, B.Silva or Gundogan will be benched. It adds more depth to their team yes, but won't take them up another level playing wise. One of the reasons Pep's teams tend to be so dangerous is that he buys and or uses penetrative players a lot. Domestically, they can't go up another level. They maxed out last season. Now our hope, as United fans, is that some of those players that performed so immensely last season won't be as prolific in the coming season. If Sane or Sterling drops in form, then they have a top class player in Mahrez ready to step in and perform. If Gundogan gets injured, then they have a great player in Jorginho to come in and take his place. Quality in depth is what wins trophies. With Mahrez and Jorginho joining an already stacked squad it improves their probability of good performances. It doesn't really work like that. So if Zidane resigns, Bale will stay at RM I reckon
I think it's more than just Bale. Navas, Benzema, Modric may be centre backs too which Real Madrid board wants to upgrade but Zidane may have different views.I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an argument about Bale
That's creative depth. But both of them will join the bench
The difference at the highest level of football these days are the little details. Details like the quality of players on your bench. I think Madrid just showed the world the massive difference a good bench can make in the game nowadays. It doesn't really work like that. Like someone said above, it would only be about the structure of payment.Because after june 1st - any club can throw in a bid and might snatch the player right under our noses. Before that - they need to negotiate a deal with the club
Smart move by him. Real are looking at a major rebuild which usually mean that you are going to have a few lesser succesful years. Better stop at the top and wait for the right team to manage later.
"As Dalot has been raised at Porto, he doesn’t want to cause the club any harm or leave on a sour note. That’s why it’s claimed one of the few demands he’s made to Manchester United iss to pay Porto more than the €20m release clause.Tweet
