Anyone think we could still go back to Leipzig with an offer for Upamecano as the Sancho deal doesn't look likely to happen now.

Would make no sense for him to go to a team who park the bus every weekend, unless he fancies his chances of outlasting JoseTweet

Got no issue with it on a one year loan, just remember who broke those scousers hearts two years ago. Will always have legendary status for doing that
Let’s be honest, the players we are trying to shift are all massive panic buys. Expect a lot to happen in the last couple of days of the window when other clubs get desperate.Whats even crazier is the team is exactly the same in terms of outgoings! We have so many players we can’t seem to shift.
Bale is currently injured with "knee problems". Why are United wasting time pretending to sign a player they'd be idiots to get (very expensive and injured)? Have United transfer sagas now become all about media and fan manipulation?Tweet

Just so predictable. Knew this would be in the press as soon as we guessingly linked Spurs yesterday on the Caf.Tweet

We can absolutely need another winger with Perisic out of the picture.Tweet

HudsON again? Brazzo sure keeps chasing his targetsWe can absolutely need another winger with Perisic out of the picture.
Makes a lot of sense. Feel bad for the guy. Club promise him sweet nothings, to then proceed to buy multiple players in the offensive line to see him drop down the pecking order.Tweet

I wouldn't call it lot of sense.Makes a lot of sense. Feel bad for the guy. Club promise him sweet nothings, to then proceed to buy multiple players in the offensive line to see him drop down the pecking order.
Fantastic for squad depth and competition for Chelsea - but Hudson-Odoi needs to play week in, week out if he wants to improve.
Bayern reigniting their interest now given the above, along with the fact Perisic and Coutinho won't be there, makes a bucket load of sense.
Good point. My arguement to that is that them signing him implies that they wish to improve him and work with him. Chelsea seems to be doing the opposite by signing more players and sending him down pecking order.I wouldn't call it lot of sense.
Getting new challenge and leaving Chelsea is a good idea especially if you can't even get enough minutes in Chelsea right now. However, moving to Bayern will only make him as Bayern's 4th choice below Sane, Gnabry & Coman. But then again, different coaching and management can make the difference as well.
At least we'll have a decent, reliable, back up. I'd like to see him paired with Maguire anyway, he'll sort out some of the feckups Maguire makes and we might concede a few less goals.Tweet

Good, he's easily worth what we quoted Roma and would cost a lot more to replace when we have priorities elsewhere.Tweet

He won't unless there are long term injuries to either Lindelof or Maguire and even then it might not be the case.I think if he stays he'll end up being a starter within a couple of months.
And Maguire, do you rate him?Good and bin Lindelof off at the same time. Have had enough of that swedish fraud
Not surprised by this , I think last night would have been a real eye opener for him. In his mind he is probably thinking he’s competing with Pulisic and Ziyech for a wide spot. For those to be both injured last night and Lampard to opt for to play two players out of position instead of putting him in would surely be making him think his future might lie elsewhere.Tweet
