Would a turkey actively vote for Christmas??She does not have the power. Parliament needs to vote for an early election to take place.
In the same way they can say they are cutting taxes/losing the triple lock/committed to no spending cuts etc one day and do something different the next.14 Tory MP's now (according to what I have seen on the TV) have now publicly come out and said that Truss must go, do you honestly think, that they would switch gears and say, "hold on, actually she should stay, as she is far more preferable to Sir Kier."??
If they did that, they would get laughed at.
Exactly. We're in odd territory here as you have to remember party leader and prime minister are not the same thing. She does not have the power. Parliament needs to vote for an early election to take place.
Forgot about that, thanks a lot Nick CleggShe does not have the power. Parliament needs to vote for an early election to take place.
That is true, but actually coming and backing a person who they said was rubbish a day ago, or an hour ago, is something else entirely. In the same way they can say they are cutting taxes/losing the triple lock/committed to no spending cuts etc one day and do something different the next.
Is that still the case after they ditched the fixed parliament act? Not really looked at the new actShe does not have the power. Parliament needs to vote for an early election to take place.
Thanks, thats a bit tighter than I imagined given present polling.https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/next-uk-general-election/overall-majority
6/4 for no overall majority
Criminals like him and Sunak, shouldn't be anywhere near Parliament. All feels like Boris will come back
I hope that back door of hers has been sterilised after he has used it.....I see that she's invited Brady to come in her back door.
Should be able to do bet builders on it.
Hung parliament + Lib-Con Coalition + Facebook becomes the government's official comms partner
Can someone give this chap the tagline or threadban he's after already....I hope that back door of hers has been sterilised after he has used it.....
I was talking about in case of covid....Can someone give this chap the tagline or threadban he's after already....
Yeah I quoted the wrong post of yours to be fair.I was talking about in case of covid....
Will never understand the British public.Loyal Conservative voter Chris from Shefford said a Labour government would be a "disaster". He acknowledged that Liz Truss "had made a mistake" but said that people were entitled to "second chances". Despite that, he likened the current political situation to "car crash TV".
That really wouldn't matter to the Tories. Regardless of what you or the electorate might think. Not Boris or Rishi, they would get slaughtered as both are criminals.
Your forgetting one key thing. The likes of Truss and Johnson have always had this selfish belief they were entitled and destined to become PM.Tweet

Errrrr.......she REALLY must be thick to not know....if she needs to ask, she needs to go...
This is the way. That's why you don't put your enemy on 'death ground'.
If they think they have time for their positions to win in the party they will continue to fight without compromise, if there is the hard deadline of an opposition VoNC people are more likely to hold their noses and compromise and argue for legitimacy. Putting them in that position with 2 years to gaslight the public would be stupid.
Allowing infighting against themselves is the correct political policy by Labour.

No idea, both are criminals, neither should be close to any political office. Why is Sunak the bookies favourite to take over?
The Boris wing of the party would cause even more havoc with him being picked.
It’s not uncommon for Truss to let a lot of people through her back door apparently.Front or back door? Can anymore politicians fit through the back door?
Is it raining in London? Just wondering if they are going in dry....It’s not uncommon for Truss to let a lot of people through her back door apparently.
It's because she's quite obviously a bit thick for the job and well out of her depth. Conniving politicians are playing her like a fiddle. It's honestly like all her political rivals in both Labour and the Tories are setting her up constantly and she keeps walking into the next humiliation.
