Does anyone have a video of the full open training session?

I don't know why you are so optimistic, they are in mid-season form and half our guys will be huffing and panting by half time. We barely had 7 days of good training.
I'm not optimistic, but bar a few former Premier League players I know next to nothing about the MLS or LA Galaxy. Therefore, 5-0 seemed the logical answer.

Something like that is probably the best way of accommodating Mata, Rooney and RVP when it comes to it.

Thinking up of my next genius thread
Looking forward to this friendly game way more than the first one last year, it seemed so dull with Moyes in charge but I am genuinely excited to see how Van Gaal shapes the team and this will be an early indication of that.

One of the journalists should've asked LVG if he was going to play 3-5-2 or 4-3-3, he would have liked to talk a bit of tactics and it's a very obvious question, yet I didn't hear it.

This match is at 04.30 Dutch time, don't think I'll be awake then, so now I have to wait until tomorrow to see the game and the formation. Although I don't think playing 3-5-2 would be an accurate indication for the rest of the season.

A lot of the tacitcs will depend on how LA Galaxy, or any opponent for that matter, are set up. However, if it's 4 at the back tonight with Smalling or Jones as RB it's probably odds on that there will no 3/5 at the back coming season. At the moment 3-5-2 seems nice to give everyone a good chance in a more natural position though, so it will be interesting.

I'm also very excited to see Van Gaal take charge of the team for the first time. Won't be able to stay up/get up early to watch the game hoping someone puts it on the web so I can download it and watch it later.

352 just may work with the players we have currently

would need to buy more defenders though, but it actually works perfect with our situation where we have an abundance of strikers and number 10s and shit wingers.

would also explain why Valencia got a contract extension

Not yet, but editing lineup predictions is coming.

You can see your chosen lineup on the Match Day homepage: https://www.redcafe.net/match-day/

This will show on the match view (i.e. this page) as well soon.
I see thanks. Reviewing my formation I will like to change some stuff but is ok. You did a great job on this.

I think he is just guessing. Even though 352/532 did a lot of good to the Netherlands team I think United doesn't need to play that way.

looks more like a 5-2-3.

I said he would set up like this in the newbies. Put an extra man in defence because we were so leaky last season. by pass midfield (because we haven't got one) and just play the break with pace.

Pretty pissed off I'll have to miss this. Hopefully I'll find a replay of it somewhere, but don't know if it's worth the hassle of trying to avoid the score all day.

If we play with 3/5 in defence, we need Vermaelen, De Vrij and Blind at least to have some cover. Still think that's not the ideal formation for us, but interesting to see some games with it.

Apart from the fact we have no midfielders and this formation requires 3 of them to start.

I'm still deciding, to wake or not to wake.
Likewise. Or to go straight through. I'll probably fall asleep if I try going through and I'm a fecker for turning my alarm off and going back to sleep. I'm in a terrible situation.

Thinking about the 3-5-2 or more realistically a 3-4-1-2, we could even have Carrick or if we buy De Jong play as part of the back 3. I had been looking for that formation ever since the start of last season once the form of our wingers became apparent.
