Err... Might have to revise my prediction

Stupid move by SL. Dropping an in-form player down from 1 to 7 to make room for fecking Kusal at the top. If it ain't broke don't fecking fix it.
Far too often, they act too smart for their own good. It's cricket, not warfare! With surprise tactics, hidden weapons and shit.

Sanga is doing the right thing here, seeing off the new ball. He can't afford to get out though when he accelerates. This really is the innings to tell us just how big time he is.

He has demonstrated that many times over his career. Nothing to prove anymore.

This is an absolutely pathetic capitulation. With the rain, the opposition's history and the pitch, even 200 would have been a solid target.

Last time it rained in one of SA's knockout ties in a World Cup in Australia, they were asked to chase 22 runs off 1 ball.
Ya D-L system was not there then. In this game actually, if SA are to face only 20 overs, the target will be a small one at 4 or so RPO. That's because SL lost 9 wickets and that means they used almost all of their 'resources.'

In the SA-Pak game they bowled out Pak for 222 and were asked to chase 232. It's ridiculous. Pakistan clearly had used all their resources and it makes feck all difference that they "didn't know" that the game wouldn't last 50 overs. I don't like these rain rules one bit.

Feck sake. Had Duminy but swapped him for Faf before the deadline.

Fecking overrated Lankans. My entire team was based around 600+ runs in the game.

Don't think India beating B'desh would be an upset. We are not great, but aren't that bad either.

Bowlers clicking, Kock scoring runs, easing some early knock-out jitters; ominous signs for the rest of the teams in the tournament. Excellent performance by South Africa.

 Good description. Looking forward to see their "new Murali" mystery spinner.
I am more interested in seeing if ICC's technical panel would allow him to chuck his way to 800 wickets. (Not that I have ever seen him bowling)

We are in agreement. ;)

Bangladesh beating India however would be an upset however "not bad" Bangladesh are.

Pakistan are in the semis mate. India are waiting there with their blank chequebooks. There is no way on earth the likes of Afridi, Akmal, etc, on their last world cup are missing that payday!! Loads of catches to drop against Kohli yet (seeing as Tendu bhai is no longer there). ;)

Seriously Pakistani fans remind me of scousers sometimes. Everytime when they lose there's a match fixing conspiracy.

Up until the most recent WT20 final, Sri Lanka had a pretty impressive record of losing finals.

Was pleased to wake up and see SA had won, had them as part of an accumulator, and it was one of the most at risk legs
Wonder if this will finally be the time that SA deliver on their talent

Basically, most games from here on in will be down to which team's batsman comes off and smashes a signifcantly better than run a ball century, and in AB, South Africa have someone who can easily do that

Stopped reading here. No chance of that happening. There's not a single Pakistani player that would get in that Australian side, maybe Sarfraz over Haddin on recent form but even that is highly questionable. Starc and Johnson against those fragile Pakistan batsmen won't be a pretty sight.
