Looks like a 4-4-2:

Casillas
Carvajal - Pepe - Varane - Marcelo
James - Ramos - Kroos - Isco
Chicharito - Ronaldo

I must say though, after having watched the previous United games and the way WBA are playing now, two teams conceding 14 goals is just pathetic. In both games, all goals were scored in period of 48 minuted.

Neymar-Suarez-Messi have scored 77 La Liga goals whice is equal to Bayern's tally and more than every other team in Europe (I'm guessing) bar Real of course. I don't know why every team just doesn't try and park the bus against them every single time.

Because Barcelona have Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta three of the best play makers probably in the past 20 years, they can pick you apart.

That's what Córdoba did and why it was 0-0 for 40 minutes.

Yea I realize that. But then they just give up. They still have a better chance of getting anything by parking the bus and countering when able than to try and play when they're behind by two. Losing like that just breaks you. All teams should play like that against Barca and Real. Even Atlético do.

They're already relegated. Can't blame them for lacking intensity.

You're not telling me anything new about their player quality. They've lost more games than Chelsea. They are beatable. Sure, they are very much in form now but that's just an even bigger reason to park the bus.

The biggest problem that league has is the head to head. If it were decided on a proper league format, you wouldnt get teams throwing in the towel and not risking injury to keep the score down.
Makes no difference if you lose 8-0 or 1-0 to them.

I don't like the format either, but it doesn't really lead to that many thrashings.

One has to keep in mind that Barcelona are miles better than any English side so that's a factor as well.

Of course. Fair enough. They actually needed a win to stand a mathematical chance.
Yeah. I thought they did excellently for 40 minutes. Barca looked like they were in for a tough tough night. Those 2 goals at the end of the first half killed them. You can imagine how painful it is being 2 goals down to Barcelona. We have experience :(

I dont know what it is, but I always feel like in La Liga teams try to score more. We could be 3-0 up by half time and you can see players like Rooney mentally shutting down. Ronaldo and Messi get a lot of goals in that 85min+ window. When teams are tired and already think the game is lost.

But like others have said, Barca and Madrid have superior attacking players. Especially ones that attack spaces.

Most teams park the bus, and Córdoba was doing so and throwing counters when they could. The game was quite slow with very few chances until first goal in min 42. The next two goals coming in the following 5 minutes completely killed the game. Córdoba has won 3 games in all season, a defeat was expected.

Of course they can be beaten, they have lost to málaga, Celta, real sociedad, psg and madrid. Counting all competitions, Chelsea has lost 3 games but had like 12 draws. Barcelona has lost 5 games and had only 3 draws.

Watching Barcelona knock in more then a dozen goals in two games and contrasting that to United's flaccid efforts is quite dispiriting.

In other news Real is leading Sevilla 2-1 at the moment, notorious hard-man Sergio Ramos conceding a penalty at the stroke of half time. Should be a good second half.

This whole nonsense about Spanish teams not defending is ridiculous. We got dicked by Atletico, city by Barca and pool by Madrid. They are just excellent teams who are miles ahead of the rest. They would smash 8 past the likes of Sunderland as well.
