Fair play to England. This tournament, in context of the type of T20 cricket serves, living up to the billing.

I do feel we are better as a team batting second. We wouldn't have made 230 batting first. Roy would never have smacked 40 odd off 12 balls or whatever it was. We'd have scored 180 and SA cruise home.

Great game.

I know the pitch was helpful to the batters, but the pace bowling from SA was very, very average. Attempted yorkers turning into knee high full-tosses regularly. Terrible.

India, Australia and South Africa have all lost now. Probably the 3 favourites to start now with.

I love this England team, shame about the bowlers in the shorter formats.

Sensational victory!

Our bowling and our fielding are fecking shocking but I've always felt our batting was actually pretty good. Got a lot of firepower and Joe Root is just total class. I'd have him behind KP as the best England batsman I've seen and with with plenty of time to move out as the best.

Morgan is a worry now though, he looks completely out of any kind of touch.

tbf the bowlers have done ok prior to the tournament. The pitch itself was hard to bowl on today.
Dunno if thats true, Willey was dropped in South Africa for a bloke thats not even here. Topley cost us a game with his awful 'death bowling' and Jordan's Jordan. There's no point complaining about Finn and Wood not being here, because they would be if they were fit, but there's definitely better alternatives than what we've got.

I don't mind Willey but I've always thought Topley is too slow for the highest level and the less said about Jordan the better.

I'm worried about us. It looks like we lack big firepower in batting, and our bowling is hit and miss
We need the likes of Rohit/Yuvraj/Raina to turn up. Far too reliant on Kohli atm.

I actually think our bowing is pretty good for T20's and Dhoni does a good job of rotating them around.
