Wait, him grinning and not answering a question wasn't the concrete evidence of an upcoming signing that some on here thought?
It's not only "on here". It's the whole football world, especially the Swedish press.

I think that Milan is a real possibility, I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign there for cheap.
If they are the main competition then it would mean if we want him we'll get him, China and their bottomless pit of money would be the main threat imo, or of course the fact that we maybe just don't want him.

Surprise... England... surprise... England... Chelsea?
Anyway, if he hasn't decide then why would it be a surprise. Unless we haven't even made an offer.

I'm one of the "Body-language Experts" as some cheekily tagged me after I correctly predicted Di Maria wasn't enjoying it here at United.

My verdict: He'll join us.

His wife wants Milan though.
They still can't pay his wages. Zlatan has said "there is only one league trophy left". Knowing the narcissistic cnut it will be us or a pay day in China. Anything else would be baffling.

It's simple we are favorite but we are not the only option and he could choose Milan for other reasons than money. There is zero reasons to be so dismissive.

Ibrahimovic doesn't seem like the kind of player to go where his agent wants him to go. In fact, he seems like a bloke who died what he likes.

If he wants to go to China for the cash then fair play to him. If he wants to stay relevant he'll stay in Europe. Whatever happens I very much suspect he'll be the one making the decision, not the agent.
Yeah, I still think he'll come here if he wants to, but I'm positive Raiola is going to continue being an absolute cnut and make it more difficult than it has to be.

Knowing what we pay our main strikers it would be absolutely insane if Milan beat us. Personally I can't see it happen. I can only see one league and one reason for Zlatan to stay in Europe - to win the PL.

Credible reports coming out of Sweden tonight that he'll retire from international football after the Euros. Not very surprising an obviously difficult to read something out of that relating to his next club move, but I choose to look at it as he's getting himself ready for the physical demands of Premiership football. :D

Either that, or he thinks the flights will be too much to handle when travelling from China just for an international.

Good. Probably won't stop him from doing a Henke. Retire and then make a comeback if Sweden somehow qualify for the next WC.

Obviously! Just wishful thinking from me. Anyway, should he decide to come here, I consider it to be a good thing getting a fully commited Zlatan with a sole focus on winning things with United.

What about Bayern with those Lewandowski to Real rumours now? He has worked with Carlo before. Hope he signs for us, he is scoring amazing goals with style (backheel). We need players with balls.

Surely not, they can't afford his wages and he's been there and done that already the only league he hasn't played in is the prem. I'm still fairly confident we will get him.

Mauro Bressan? Yeah, that's a great one, even if it is a complete freak occurence. He's never done anything remotely similar to that since.

That goal against England is something I could see Zlatan replicating if he was given another shot at it. He's scored gravity-defying goals like that so often in his career. I've said in this thread before that his ability to hit the target no matter how crazy the shot is the best in the world, and that strike is just more proof of that. Give any other player the opportunity to attempt it as many times as they wanted and it'd take hours before the ball actually went in.

The sheer athleticism it takes to reach that ball and connect with it in the first place makes it impossible for most players. Then you have to actually generate enough power to get it across the line before the defender reaches it, and then you have to get it over Hart and betwen the sticks. Unbelievable.

And I'm not even sure it's his best goal, or his most unbelievable goal. Ridiculous player.
I would say easily in top 10 of greatest goals scored.

If we are still negotiating, why the hell would his agent say 'yeah Ibra is going to United.' The agents job is to get as much money for his client and himself.

A surprise could be Arsenal though.

Milan might not be able to match our wage offer but they can come close. Think they have some Chinese investment coming in.
