Tbf, I've only ever seen him play live once when I saw PSG beat Ajax 3-1 in the UCL the other year. He did little, was just ambling around, but then scored a worldy, taking the ball down, turning his man and then drilling it into the bottom corner.
The atmos at the Stade de France was amazing.

If your intention was to ask which striker had Zlatan's current or previous skill level when this other hypothetical striker was aged 35 then you worded the question poorly.

Playing for too long in such a shit league lowers ones own standards. Maybe not so much for players looking to break into 'proper' leagues like Mahrez and Martial but not great for done-it-all winding-down types with nothing to prove.

They always say you can prove anything with stats, and generally you get people wanting to prove things one way or the other.

Of course, to add balance, you should mention that Rooney hasn't played as the furthest forward man for us in a lot of those games. Which does make a big difference.

I know it seems like I'm picking holes in his record but ultimately that's what happens if you want to use his record in a lesser league and international football. Genuinely I'm not just trying to find fault. We'll improve by having him here, I just don't think it's the best way to improve.

You've just pointed out that a bunch of Rooney goals came against San Marino. So obviously you see the issue with using internationals.

I had a preconception of French crowds being quiet, but it was great. The opposite stands were doing chants were one stand sings one bit, then the other the next bit.
The Ajax fans are brilliant. I've seen them six times in the UCL and they've been hammered in every match, but they keep on chanting.

San Marino have won one game in their history and regularly concede a shit load of goals.

You can call the likes of Montenegro shit if you like but they managed to get results vs Sweden so the gap is clearly small between them. San Marino aren't getting a result vs anyone

It's a decent signing, nothing more than that. I'm not as critical about this one as I was about the Falcao signing but once again I see plenty of people possibly expecting too much of him. He will solidify our front line and I expect him to bag around 12-15 goals in the PL alone because he brings the physical attributes necessary to succeed.
At the same time, I hope he'll understand having to make way for Rashford at times because continuing Rashford's development is gonna be key going forward. It's important to find the right balance and not hamper or alienate the talent we already have on board.
