At least he got a few on target. I'm sure the goals will come, it's his defensive game that I would like to see him tighten up, the positional discipline.

The Pogba criticism is getting ridiculous now. Our whole team has been reserved going forward but the only player looking to make things happen constantly is Pogba yet he's being criticised here.

He's clearly been our best player this half but because he had a couple of sloppy moments he's been poor :houllier:
It'd be better if he went hiding like Mata or Mkhitaryan. The fact he actually tries things works against him

He did some really good things but people will focus on the negative because we're not winning.

Lots of overrreactions as always. Hasn't been great but has not been bad either. Crosses has been excellent as always, and it looks like he'll either score in the second or assist. Great chance at the end.

imo he's been average, not great but not not atrocious either.
It's a tricky game as Rostov have, understandably, parked the bus.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
He really hasn't been good.. got away with losing the ball in dangerous counter attacking situations.
Yeah, I noted at least 2.

And two row Z shots, 1 coming from a very well placed free-kick.

Still, he hasn't been that bad, and at least is getting into good situations.

I'm not buying the hype on the long, no pressure, cross-field passes though, been there with Rooney.

100% true.

Herrera has been woeful in his choice of pass by repeatedly passing back to who he received the ball from or the CB's but no one says a thing.

I'm actually lost at the criticism he has received in this half.

Hasn't been awful but a world class midfielder does not lose the ball where he does and it happens every game with him. Needs to cut that shit out.

Can't believe the overreactions on here. He had a good first half , the system however is not helping him.
There is no link man in central areas between midfield and Zlatan

If we'd bought him for 30m everyone would be raving about him. His price is irrelevant and not any indication of how good he is. We needed a player like him and had the money to spend to get him, that's all there is to it really.

Mixed bag. But the good showed his sublime talent. People should try supporting our player.

It's been like that since he signed. People are desperate to post here as soon as he fails. I wonder if they support the club when posting so much shit about our players.

I agree, mate.

I'm trying to find some good things about every game with him, but you're right, the losing possession in dangerous areas (for no need) is just daft.

Well that's him out. Probably a blessing in disguise. He needs a rest anyway.

Imagine trying to make people think that we didn't buy him for £89m. How can one simply put another figure into their head?

Might be a blessing in disguise. He's been poor recently and very inconsistent this whole season.

And out of the spotlight he goes, maybe a blessing in disguise.

The international break came in the right time.

Not good at all but at least he might finally get a bit of rest. I think he's looked tired a couple of times recently, a few weeks out might do him good physically and mentally

Might be blessing in disguise. If it's for a week or so. Although with Ander's suspended... Once again, same as with Ibra against Bournemouth Jose should have rested Pogba and use the squad.

As long as he's back in time for the end of the international break, it's probably a good thing Pogba's out. He needs a rest

Damn. Pogba and Herrera both out of the Boro game then. Fellaini-Carrick midfield two it is! No Zlatan either...

Not good, as we have very few options even as it relates to a Pogba half out of form. Hopefully he'll come back before long, and rediscover his best form.
