That offside decision killed the game. Would have been good to see us trying to nick a draw going into the last 10 minutes.

Im starting to hate City as well. I was indifferent to them winning things at the start but its just shit having a lottery winning football club hammer each team every week.
In fairness we didn't hammer you. First half maybe. Had it not been for the offside you'd of pushed us to the wire.

I've got no issue at all. I've grown up in Ireland since I'm 5. My issue is santi having a meltdown, calling us bastards. Then he's asked to not do that and makes a quote about a place he's never been.
And the only part i was on about, which i've seen quite a bit around, is the notion foreign fans are less than those in Britain/local.

Chelsea lost in midweek. Luiz has been dropped and things seem awry behind the scenes. Let's beat Chelsea and make a statement. We're good enough to.

As I said no. I consider myself a foreign fan. I've never been to Glasgow and it would be stupid of me to say Glasgow is blue or green when I haven't a clue just because I'm annoyed at a Celtic/rangers fan for no reason.

For what its worth when I've been back to Manchester I would say Manchester is actually red.

Fair enough.

Good physical game so far and the draw is fair, Mourinho less cautious than expected but the defense was caught sleeping a few times.

Wenger post match comments:

"I believe it was no penalty. We know that Raheem Sterling dives well, he does that very well. And the third goal was offside. I am very upset because at 2-1 we were in the game.

"The third goal was the killer and it is by coincidence that mistakes always go for the home team, as we know.

"It is unfortunate that the game finished the way it finished. I am disappointed. You can accept if it City win in a normal way, they are a good side but this is unacceptable. Last season we lost two offside goals and it has happened again.

"City will be hard to stop.

It was an intense game of quality on both sides. We did create plenty of dangerous situations and chances but overall, the referee made the decisions again with a soft penalty and offside goal. It was unacceptable what happened. This happened to us last year with two offside goals. Today, the third goal killed the game. Of course, City are a top team and that made it even more difficult for us.

"The referees don't work enough, the level drops every season.

"I think we played well against a team who play quickly and well on the counter attack. In the first half, we were perhaps too deep and in the second half we were more in the game. At 2-1, it looked like we could make it back to 2-2.

"City are obviously a good side but that's up to other people to talk about how good they are."

Hard not to feel sorry for him as he has been shafted by the officials once again. FA to look into the comments? Or does that only happen to Jose?

Im not Wenger's biggest fan but when the ref is Micheal Oliver, I would say he's spot on. But then again he has benefited form Oliver's bad decision in the past and said nothing even at OT.

Still aside from that goal had a lot of wayward passes and barely got into the game after that.
His job is to score which he did. And 6 goals in 11 games for someone new to the league in a bang average team is a good return.

The job of the midfielders like Ozil and Ramsey is to make chances, which they were completely shitte at today and in their cases they are completely useless at in big games.

Is that why he wanted him in the summer?

4 Fellaini goals coming right up
Wouldn't mind, he's in my ff team. Lukaku assists please as he's my captain (had to bring him in a month ago to stop him scoring so freely).

Bakayoko is the football version of Roberson. He's so pointless that defenses just let him shoot.

Lukaku is not the striker United needed. Never going to be that top tier striker for me.

The Morata v Lukaku thread is oddly quiet..

posted this just in another thread too... how on earth can people say Kante is not top drawer with a straight face. Guy is so valuable. Would sign him any day
