Good half for Madrid but the best chance of the match was the Paulinho one.

Zidane's plan is working but I'll wonder how much he'll wait before putting Isco or Bale on.

Barcelona is underwhelming. Real is not bad at all.
To be fair though - they don’t really need to do much more than draw this game. So the onus is on RM to make it happen. Enjoyed the first half - I think we need an RM goal to getting it ignited.

Real playing really well in 1st half with Ronaldo almost scoring. 2nd half I expect Barca will come back in the game more.

Really? I’ve switched over to Chelsea - Everton because I thought it was a complete bore fest.
I switched over during the half time. Even with the sloppiness from Madrid and Barcelona, the level of football is higher than what I've seen in the last few minutes from Everton and Chelsea. The fast pace helps though.

Our 2 Croatian midfield maestros have been excellent so far.
Missed 15 minutes of the half. Genuine question (as a Croatian also), why do you think Mateo has been good? He's not bad, but I still feel that Isco could make a difference in such a tight game.

The atmosphere isn't coming across well on the TV at all. It's a strange muffled sound

Not sure how people can say that was boring. I thought it was entertaining with Real’s great passing and movement, and Barcelona’s few good chances. Some bad mistakes that should have otherwise been goals, but yeah, I thought it was good so far.

Agree. Real goal would open up the game. Only I think they are doing well upfront so far.

It's probably just people's preference for action in the box that leads to statements like that. Nothing wrong with that. Found it entertaining also.

Totally agree, did the same. The moments when Jagielka just lumps it upfield with no pressure whatsoever ...

Thought Barca would be better, we aren't/wasn't good in form. Yeah, a draw is enough for them and they still can score a goal out of nothing.

It's too slow with sloppy passing at the crucial moments.
It's not really by design either since both sides strengths is the change of pace they have when attacking the final third

Kovacic refused to unmark Messi for that which made the space for Rakitic to advance the space.

Lovely pass by Roberto.
