Arsenal won't let Sanchez go until they get a replacement in. The potential replacements are Mkhi, Malcom or Aubameyang. If Mkhi agrees to go, this deal can be wrapped up pretty fast or else we'll have to wait till Arsenal sign someone. This seems to be the situation now. Only Mkhi is holding up the deal for obvious reasons - 1.Wage cut 2.Arsenal are not in great shape 3.He will end up being called a failure if he leaves now. He might want to stay and prove himself.

I want Sanchez as much as the next man and I’ll be absolutely gutted if we don’t end up with him but the abuse Mkhitaryan is getting in here is fcuking disgusting. Shame on you lot.

I don't know why footballers should be criticised for taking the job that offers more money, when it's how 95% of the normal working world operates.

If Mhki fecks this up I will hate him forever
I would not blame him to be honest, If Mhki thinks going to Arsenal is a step backwards who can blame him. I want Sanchez as much as anyone but Mhki don't deserve this hate over a transfer.

It seems to me that the wages are the sticking point. These leaks come from Raiola and are saying to United 'you are going to have to sub his wages if Arsenal don't pay up'.
Someone might have brought this up but would a loan deal not work. I mean we subbed Nani wages for ages.

No, not Lisbon..Lisburn!
If Mikhi digs his heels in and doesn't want to move permanently, given he has two and a half years left on his contract, would United have right to ship him off to Arsenal on loan....indefinitely?

Weird that Mkhi is key, given they look to be on to Auba and Malcom, both who directly replace him with depth on top. Mkhi doesn't play ahead of Ozil, and probably not even Wilshere on current form if he was to be tried deeper.

Why would they be so desperate to obtain a player who hasn't been good for quite some time. Arsenal aren't really in a position to bring in a player who is out of form and persevere with him until he reaches form, which he may not.

Who are Chelsea giving them in return which supposedly puts them in pole position?

I don't know why so many people are happy to let Mkhitaryan go out the door to Arsenal so quickly, yes I understand it's for Sanchez, but Arsenal is the type of team he would thrive at. If the option is there for a £35m payment for Sanchez and Mhkitaryan has other options like Dortmund, do it, I'd rather not see him at another club in the Premier League.

Because its to get Sanchez. Overall it weakens Arsenal and strengthens us by swapping a useless player (in a United shirt) for a PL proven top class player.

If Miki performs at Arsenal I would be surprised but frankly not care. They are on the slide and probably losing their other best player in the Summer.

God knows i had my fair shares of having a go at Mkhi on the pitch but people actually having a go at a guy because he is was enforced to be a key to unlock Sanchez transfer, what the feck is wrong with people!?

Maybe he does want to go but not to Arsenal, not aiming this at you but if Sanchez deal falls through, there will be plenty here and out there who will abuse him just because in their eyes he ruined their wish to sign Sanchez by not playing ball.
Maybe he will enjoy sitting on the bench.

'It is understood Borussia Dortmund have ruled out making a bid to take Henrikh Mkhitaryan back to Germany.

Dortmund inquired about Mkhitaryan before the transfer window opened but they felt the transfer fee was excessive.'

Ornstein:
"Neither Arsenal nor United will sanction the deal without Mkhi travelling in the opposite direction"
I'm really struggling to understand why BVB are relevant in any part of this

If Mhki pulls out of the deal and doesn’t want to go, what makes people think that will mean Arsenal sell to Chelsea instead of us? They would still not have a replacement in.

The media’s obvious bs is so transaparent, it makes me sick. They want drama. Us being the only choice is not drama, they had City and now they have Chelsea to spice things up.

All Mhki saying no to Arse does is delay things slightly.

Great, so the whole deal could be scuppered by a player who has consistently failed to live up to expectations.
You'd think before we started to negotiate and then make an offer, the club must have sounded Miki out. I mean surely before we would say right we are offering 10m plus miki. Seems like we are still at the negotiating stage which means this wont be sorted out for a couple of days at least

Yeah if I was him I'd much rather take a step down to Arsenal, play every week, be one of the stars there and have the opportunity to become loved by the fans instead of rotting away at Man Utd while being hated by everyone.
I just wonder if he is not generally happy in the UK. Not that I know much about him but some people dont settle.
Ps, I thought the Sanches issue would be sorted by now, will check-in in another couple of hours.

What do you mean by "right to", Mkhi is free to accept or refuse a transfer or a loan.

There is more posts claiming that Mkhi is getting horrible abuse than there is ''abuse'' posts. No one is giving him disguising abuse, re-read the comments you drama lama.

Don't you all know that Mkhi is obliged to sign for Arsenal, just because Wenger needs him and United need Sanchez? How dare he, a player who was transferred by United and is on a long-term contract, think about his own interests instead of submitting to Wenger's will?

Why are most of your posts so negative? Chelsea can pay his wages, he wants to stay in London, Chelsea can easily pay his agent and he is not worth 400k?

The figure quoted is anyway 350k something which we gave Zlatan last season and almost the same we dished out on Rooney. Don't fall for media propaganda.

Nope. We cannot force him. There would be two options left, and both are not good
1.) We pay up his contract to get him off our books
2. ) Dont play him, but then it is the Bogarde situation all over again.

I'm looking for a 95th minute Sanchez goal in the final league game which sees us somehow take the title off City on goal difference; on the final day of the season.

Martin Tyler's last ever commentary act is him screaming Saaaaaancheeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!! and then goes into a 2 year long catatonic trance state; seemingly unable to mentally process, nor accept, what he's just witnessed.

Jose runs down the touchline pretending to poke everyone he meets in the eye and puts on the shit-coat someone chucks him from within the crowd. (The coat would have the words "Yes RAWK this really is a shit coat" on the back)

And then I wake up to see City winning the league by 10 points - Sigh

Mourinho must freeze out Mkhitaryan and take his locker away from him. Make him train with the reserves. Give him the Schweinsteiger treatment. Force him out at any and all costs to push this deal through.

I do agree that Miki should not get any abuse.
Yes, he's been terrible for us (I certainly called him out on this), but I won't say anything negative, if he fails to agree terms with AFC.

What if he doesn't want to play for Arsenal? Doesn't want to live in London? What then? Should he just do it anyway so Man United fans get their guy?
Doens't want to live in London? At the rate he is going he will be choosing between Middlesbrough and Dundee in the Summer. If Arsenal want him and want to play him he should go. I think his career in a United shirt is effectively over anyway and if Sanchez comes in without a Mikhi deal then he won't even be making the subs bench.
