Really hope this falls through and doesn't happen. He would be an amazing signing for you guys and would cement you well above the other 4 of the top 6 IMO.

City reached their limit. No funds left for Alexis.

You have to feel a little sorry for Mkhitaryan. Well as sorry as you could be for a multimillionaire who's getting paid while underperforming.

I like Jose and our ruthlessness here though. He's been given every chance to find his form, and he hasn't produced consistently. I'm waiting for his agent to say he was hard done by once he leaves United.

Still not going to be convinced we'll actually pull this off. Ruud's failed first transfer still scars me to this day.
He might but I doubt he'd say anything out of the ordinary, three of his biggest clients, Zlatan, Pogba and Rom are still here. He wouldn't damage relationship with the club.

I dont feel sorry for him at all. He's been given much more chances/time to improve than other players would have been allowed. Imagine Martial played as bad as Mhki has this season? He'd be training with the reserves!
Aye. Look at Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Memphis et al whom Jose disposed of quite ruthlessly. Martial got tough love (like Mkhi) as did Shaw and both have stepped it up when they finally got their chance. Mkhi has got chance after chance for 18 months and while he's done the job sometimes, he's never been convincing and never put together a run good enough to justify fans cutting him too much slack for now holding up a deal. He may be entitled to, and most in his place may have done the same, but to expect fans to have sympathy and support him is to completely ignore what a fan is!

No chance Sanchez is going to be stuck at Arsenal even if Mkhi doesn't want to go the other way. He is coming here and we have no competition. When the official site referenced the rumors, it was pretty much a done deal.

Raiola = Setting the narrative for the move

City = damage controlling the missed transfer, gave BBC the Chelsea red herring.

MUFC = About to sign sanchez.

Life is good my friends.

 Christ he's good.

He seems to only score 4 types of goals:

1. Tap ins
2. Free-kicks
3. Headers (surprising for someone who's 5ft 6
4. Screamers, absolute fecking screamers.
He's the sort of player that United fans would love - just loves running at defenders, so direct and so skilful and defenders hate this sort of player.

Can't blame the guy for not wanting to join that shambles of a side, hoping we can do a deal separately for Sanchez as I have no faith in Arsenal getting shit sorted from their side.
If he couldn't make it at United, I guess he must step a bit down and go to a club of his level. And I think Arsenal is exactly that. He is good enough for a Top 4 to 6 battle clubs, not the title challengers

If United don't get Sanchez after all the premature celebrations we will be the laughing stock of the football world. Even Arsenal fans can slag us for a couple of days.
Don't worry, this will happen! My inner muppet is never wrong

So it's all down to Mkhitaryan? I can't imagine after Chelsea and City have pulled out, Mkhitaryan will stop the fecking deal:houllier:

Mkhi needs to go.. why does he want to stay when he's not wanted here anymore?

I'm sorry Mikhi but you ruined your chances here.
But what if he doesn't want to go to Arsenal?

Plus the club signed a contract, and he's entitled to hold them to it.

Raiola is setting the narrative for the move. Do they think he just started openly talking to journos today about mkhi leaving for fun?

Raiola and Mkhi will get their payday from MUFC and we will sign sanchez.

Why? Because we tried to get a world class player who until less than a week back was sure to go to City? Come on.

He doesn't come now, we can try again in the summer.

I can’t get to my head the the signing all depend on Mkhitaryan.....

If Mkhitaryan don’t go then what? no Sanchez and Mourinho will continue to play Mkhitaryan for the remainder of the season? Or Mkhitaryan will be send over to reserve until his co tract expires?

Raiola will use any argument to get more cash for his player and himself.
I don’t think we’ll agree on this, but it a question of one’s perception of a “lower status club” (how is that quantified in this instance because we are only above Arsenal for first time in years) and actually vocalising it at the negotiating table. It’s not like we’re pinging him to Bournemouth

It would be like DiMaria, or potentially Bale, saying I want compo for moving to United because they’re a lower status club.

I think they’ll look for incentives to encourage the move, but I doubt saying that would encourage anyone to make a deal.

According to the BBC Woody won't sanction it without Mkhi going.

Depends here if his source is Raiola or the club itself.

We were ready to bid £15m more to £35m so we outbid City for Sanchez. That hasn't changed surely. Mkhi exchange only really came up in the past couple of days?

If push comes to shove I'm sure we will both settle on cash. But I reckon Raiola will have the deal done anyway after a bit of negotiating. We just need to sit tight and let the fat man talk about fees.
