Get off the work wifi and spend some money on decent data plan.

Hehehe
Haha. I've tried both Vodafone and Airtel here in Mumbai and both happen to suck balls at work and become non existent at home. My wife's Jio works a treat mind.

Matt Law at the moment

So he accepted less money to join than what he asked City for.
:wenger:
This doesn't fit the narrative

Well..he agreed terms with City. Then found out about United and clearly preferred playing for United, as most humans would.. and the only way he could convince himself to play for City was if they offered crazy money..

It was basically United or Money. City probably didnt want to get fleeced and walked away..
Sanchez, will all else being equal, chose to play for the bigger club.

:)

Dying for this to be like the time Mourino unexpectedly totally confirmed Mata moving to us when he was Chelsea boss.

Jio is another network provider just for the information of other people

This is actually far more likely than the narrative that city PR tried to spin.

Meh, dunno why people are surprised by the contract. £14m/year after tax? United wanted to sign Bale or Griezmann last summer. How much do you think they'd have cost? Club clearly ready to give that to a superstar. Certainly can afford it.

As a bonus, City's stars will still be looking at that and start thinking how underpaid they are....

thats mental, to think we where to be paying this guy that amount when he is 34..... he better be pretty fecking sensational for this kind of money

plus sets a dangerous precedent for next time we try to sign a player, how much is De Gea gonna want in these contract negotiations now.

I’ve got the source, raw sauce....

All this Sanchez hype has increased Sanchez’a image rights to £1m a week and as such United will not have to pay any balancing figure! In your faces City!

Raw sauce... straight from the ketchup!

I think it’s rich that fans are talking about the wages and kind of writing the whole thing off. No matter what they write and say, United will still have Sanchez, he will still make us much better. Opposition fans are like «nah, that’s too much mate» - but, he will stay have the nr. 7 and play for United. Every other club would still want him in their team.

The more talk and ridicule over fake news and wages, the better for Man Utd. It just goes to show how good he really is.

We dont have to offer more money. just being a united player means any decent player can make multiple millions a year from endorsements.

Why do you believe that 'story' is true, out of interest?

If he did ask for 500k p/w to join city then his agent is the only smart agent out there. They can pay anything and somehow KDB's agent le him sign a 5 year contract on 200k p/w when messi/ronaldo are on 800k or something. Would't be surprised if his agent got paid off on that or something, he could have demanded 400k easily

are we in the 90's?

£350K a week is the low end of the going rate for world class players. that precedent has long been set by the top clubs, there's nothing mental about it.

Goalkeeper salaries are never going to scale up to what forward/attacking players earn due to said attacking players usually generating more money than a GK. De Gea will be well remunerated to reflect his status in the club/team and how good he is overall, but his salary won't be similar to Sanchez'.

Also, reportedly, its a straight swap with no fee paid to arsenal, seems a phenomenal deal to me.
