I'd choose to be a Forest fan than a City fan now. You can't buy a successful history.
Beg to differ - they are indeed buying a successful history. 10 years from now we'll look back at City's history, and whilst recognising the funding they got, it won't take away from all the trophies they've been picking up, and will continue to pick up. But back on the Sane thread, man that guy reminds me of Giggs in his younger days when weaving his way past players. He's lovely to watch.

You know this for a fact? how so?
Why would he watch games undercover?

I suppose you've go to love a mingling Sheik
A muslim wearing a disguise would not get within a mile of a footy ground in Manchester.

United have incredible history - it’s just that the dynamics of the World game are changing with PSG and City - these two clubs are now at the top forever - I don’t agree with it even being a blue - but with the hundreds of billions behind them no other clubs can come close -not even Real or Barca

You've won 2 leagues after spending more than a billion pounds and you're acting like you're Real Madrid. Win an UCL or two, and then come back.

City had the same amount of points as 5th two years ago and finished 2 points above 4th last year right?
Did I imagine that? Did I miss the world domination? I have been busy...

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
Despite United having a far richer history than us - one man HRH Sheikh Mansour changed the way the World sees MCFC- from playing York and Barnsley it now transpires that when you talk about the Real Madrid’s of this World -when you talk of the Bayern’s Barca’s and yes United s of this World - you have to talk about City in the same breath
It’s been an amazing few years - I know for a fact that HRH has attended many games undercover -along with many bodyguards -he has mingled freely on match days with City fans around the stadium
:lol::lol::lol:

I'm laughing at you, not with you.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
Fernandinho is such a good player and unless you watch him every game it's hard to really appreciate him because he has a few awful matches from time to time.

I think of Sané as the inverse of that. He has some wonderful games but equally some really ineffective performances and if all you really see is highlights it's easy to get carried away.

For now I think Sterling is the better player because he has the consistency that Sané hasn't found yet. Once Sané can play like this every game, however, he could be as good as Robben. Some are saying he'll hit CR7 levels but I personally don't see that happening.
You're not allowed to say anything positive about Sterling on here. He's crap apparently.

What do you mean, at the top forever?
What @Revan said, PSG and City should win the CL first to talk about being at the top, let alone forever whatever that means.

Also HGH mingling with the fans. I mean, so what?

Sane is thriving at City under Pep, just like Coman did at Bayern. But remove him from a Pep team and put him into a say, Jose or Simeone style team, and you will see he won't fare much better than Rashford or Martial or Correa. Pep relies on attacking overloads and more often than not, a player with good pace and dribbling skills will usually find himself in an easier position to decide. But, in our current United team, you will see him making more erroneous decisions, incorrect movement etc.

@Damien or mods - this thread is derailing into non Sane chat which is tedious.

As for Sane.. can't see him ever being Ronaldo in terms of numbers - seems more of an all round winger/playmaker like Figo. That makes him slightly less direct than a Robben and more team orientated.

He's going to end up among the very best wingers for me and personally overall his style reminds me of Dragan Dzajic if I was to pluck a name from the past.

Interesting post and you may well have a point.

This is one of the most bizarre posts I have seen on here. What exactly are you trying to say?
It's clearly a joke. Don't find it funny? Fine. But why bizarre? You saw the line of conversation I take it?

A few understandable instances of immaturity excepted he's got it all to be a devastating player for City.

I hate to say this, but this boy is crazy. That dribbling was crazy against Newcastle defenders

Sooner he leaves City the better. Only because he's an absolute joy to watch when he's on form.

C'mon Bayern, time to start bringing the Germans back home again :D

They couldn't afford him, only United, Barca, Real or PSG could afford him now

Surely after Hazard he must be Real, Bayern or Barca's next target? Certainly before Salah and Mane. Very close to being the next Ronaldo.

Or course we can. We just won’t. United isn’t that much richer than we are, if at all.

You have the money for sure but you won’t spend it on one player it’s not Bayern’s style.

Why spend all that money on one player when you’ve got the German league completely cornered? you can just take who you want from any team in your division.

You’d be fecked if 2-3 Bundesliga teams got new owners and told you to feck off every time you come knocking.

He's in the same bracket as Dembélé and just a bit lower than Mbappé for me. Still very raw (much more than the other two) but talent-wise he has it all: pace, strength, dribbling, shooting. His passing is still off quite often, even though while he assisted a ton when crossing I still have the impression that he just tries to smash 'em low and hope to find the striker somehow. Also tends to go missing for large periods when he's not in form but this guy is one of those that is capable to dominate any defence and COULD be WPOTY candidate in a few years (not saying he will, but the talent is there).

You just don't want to lose Salah and Mane. As far as Real and Barca are concerned your two are better and if they ever change their mind I'll make Sane have a bad run of games by putting laxative in his tea.

Bayern doesn't have the pull or money to pick players from City and United.

Real and Barca do, but City would just take the piss out of them with the transfer fee since money is nothing to them.

Buying from the PL is getting harder and harder, even for the two Spanish clubs.

 of course I don't want to lose either of our players. But the trajectory Sane is on is ridiculous. I thought he was overrated for a long time but I'm a believer in him now. Germany are fecking lucky.

(He's German right :nervous:)

He's a beast and I think he probably has a higher ceiling than those but I dunno if he'll ever put up the numbers Salah has so far this season.

Lucky for us Barca have Dembele and Real will keep CR7 and Bale till their legs fall off (with Bale that could be anytime soon I suppose.)

Actually gutted he ended up at City. LVG was linked to him for a long time and I would have hoped he could have brought him in but I don’t think he would have had the pull over Pep on that one. Martial operating off the left and Sane of the right would have been sensational. He was heavily linked with Jesus as well so that attacking trio would have been something.

I’m sure we can settle for Martial on the left and Sanchez on the right :D

He's basically a hybrid of Giggs, Bale and has the trajectory of potentially a playmaking/football brain of a Figo.
