Why are Merc the only ones that can do a nice looking nose?

Bianchi's car went nose first, not backwards.

Ferrari's car was the fastest car on the grid last year.
Whats the point if their reliability wasnt as good as Merc and at the end of the day the constructors wasnt even close?

I can see the attraction of a red car, but for me the better lines and look is the silver one.
But looks mean nothing, if what is under the bonnet (even though there is no bonnet) does not produce the goods.
That's for sure. When are the first tests in Barcelona?

Vettel turned out with the same number of wins & as Hamilton. Singapore is what turned the Championship.

Constructors wasn't even close because of Raikkonen, struggled to turn up at race weekends. Lost the most number of places in the first laps as well last year. I don't doubt there was reliability challenges within it, but the Ferrari was by and large the fastest car last year & couldn't convert.

Eh? Wins - Vettel 5, Hamilton 9, poles; Vettel 4, Hamilton 11.

Orange

Man they're struggling for sponsors, suppose not entirely surprising given the Honda mess.

I think Honda will surpass Renault by the end of this season. They will catch Ferrari the next one and Red Bull Honda will be fighting for championship on equal terms against Mercedes in 2020.

Mclaren Honda project was dead before it started thanks to everyone involved from both sides. Honda can finally breathe and work under less pressure. They have the whole season to test the PU and take as much grid penalties as they need to get the engine ready for next season when it goes into the back of Red bull.

Mclaren was pushing them and crippling them at the same time. Size zero everything was never the way to go. Just look at the air intake on the new Toro Rosso. Mclaren would never allow something like that on their car.

That Mclaren is gorgeous. Didn't like the black and orange last year, only problem this year is the halo. Would prefer that to be blue or orange as well.

McLaren will be nowhere near Mercedes by 2020. The next generation of engines is where we will see a significant shake up to the running order as we see it today.

Not the start McLaren wanted to testing...

Fernando Alonso crashes out after five laps

Fernando Alonso was involved in a big crash on the opening morning of winter testing in Barcelona.

The right rear wheel came off the Spaniard's MCL33 in the final corner, pitching the two-time world champion into a spin and leaving him in the gravel trap.

Alonso had completed only five laps before his accident, but he was able to climb out before inspecting the rear of his car.
