How' bout Royal Antwerp FC?

We used to be closely tied to United. I remember watching many on loan players play for us (ie Johnny Evans).

After years of withering away in the second division, we're now on the brink of securing European football again. And we play in red off course.

RB Leipzig is a good shout, best defense in Bundesliga this season, UCL football, plenty of young talent (Upamecano, Konaté, Klostermann, Mukiele, Werner) and good players like Orban and Halstenberg... Should be fun.

Got to be St Pauli, we went on the lash there a few years ago and we went to the match. Great fans made us feel really welcome. Been to a couple of games since.

I'd like to go for a German one. Although I'm not sure if more midtable mediocrity is good for our mental health. Also it'd be nice to choose one that runs over summer. That's why I'm going for J League now. Forza Sanfrecce Hiroshima! (or Kawasaki Frontale).

Look at the shirt!

Take my yen

I do really like the idea of the J League but the matches would be on at annoying times.

I'm massively torn. St Pauli sounds great, but the J League running over summer is a big pull for me.

You can all join me in supporting Falkirk if you want. After a few years of coming up short in the promotion playoffs, we've just been relegated to the 3rd tier for the first time in 38 years. I think I must have upset the football gods somewhere down the line.

I think we should all support Arbroath next year - just been promoted to the Scottish Championship. Their stadium is the closest to the sea in the British isles, and is called Gayfield.

Failing that Montpellier.

Looks like they'd mostly be in the mornings, between 5-11am starts.

I wonder if there's any kind of J League roundup to watch too (in English)?

RB Leipzig as they are the only team I could name some players, also getting a manager that I wanted for United in Julian Nagelsmann

Highly recommend Atlanta United or LAFC. Their atmosphere is fantastic. Never been on my end. But then you can also root against City...NYFC sky blue..

Polish Ekstraklasa can be legally watched via Dailymotion, Cracovia Kraków to be watched so we can find a new Piątek.

i think a lot of people actively follow them already. Would be more fun to find something more unknown in a different country, no?
Oh is it another country, thought it was just a second team, ah only bit of fun mate, get Stenhousemuir up there, always love a bit of the STEN

It can't be PL team, or British at all. I vote for Sturm, they were the best while managed by Bosnian greatest player and manager, Ivica Osim. And its kinda cool to play on Arnold Schwarzenegger stadium.

Has to be one that's shown at a normal time in the UK. But not a side that we're likely to meet in the Europa League. And obviously no English side.

Think Hertha Berlin gets my vote, although there are probably more interesting sides we could find.

EDIT: Quick look shows Getafe in 4th in La Liga, could be interesting seeing them trying to maintain CL qualification 2 years in a row.

Just as a heads up, St Pauli are awesome in what they stand for but they're games are shit because they don't attract football fans, just activists and hipsters.

Last summer they sacked a bloke on his way to a fourth successive title because his playing style wasn't attractive enough ("the Rosenborg way"). Then they hired a dinosaur.
And had 2 big public shitstorms due to their silly board-leader.

Knowing our luck we'll end up adopting a crap team that adds even more to our misery with United.
