Jesse Lingard's 2019 Premier League stats

Games: 28
Goals: 0
Assists: 0

He's an attacking midfielder apparently....
Worse. He is no10. Number fecking 10. When i was a kid number 10 position meant that you are best player in squad and most creative. Zidane, Maradona, Baggio, Totti, Del Piero, Laudrup, Boban, A.Muller..... played on that position. Watching Lingard there is mind-blowing

I've been saying it for years, it's not just that he's not United standard, he isn't Premier League standard. There are many many better players in the Championship than him. If he played for someone like Blackburn Rovers or Bristol City, he would not stand out.

I can't stand him anymore. He does not do anything. When he runs he jogs after the player with the ball. He does not try to get on side of him so that at least he can defend. The sooner Ole realises that he is not good enough the better for all of us including the club. Just because he was a good player in the youth team does not mean he is good enough now.

feck me, redcafe pretends like United are oblivious to this. He would be getting roasted right now if not told he's not performing and could be very much on the way out. His recent media grabs have all been from a player that is trying his hardest to remain relevant. He'll be either gone in the next month or summer at this stage.

We first need to buy some players before we'll sell him since we're severely lacking in squad depth. And thats one of the reasons why he still gets to play

Massively overpaid for what he keeps offering us. If I was ole I would give Jesse a break away from football for at least 2 weeks and see where he's at afterwards.

However, he should see the door this summer regardless of being an academy product.
It was revealed by Lingard that Ole said this season was his last chance. This is really it for him.

I really, really want to believe that, but what exactly are we going to do with him in the summer? He is on £100k per week and has 0 goals and 0 assists in a full year. Fans hate him. What other club would want him?

We'll probably loan him out once we get suitable cover in his position, such as Maddison. Either that or he'll sit in the reserves until his contract runs down.

Up to him what he does in the summer really, he knows he's not welcome here though.

He wouldn't improve any team in his position. Go through all the current PL teams and replace him with one player in his position, they'd instantly be a worse team.

It’s not it for him. We all know what’s going to happen. After the season is over, he’ll post numerous videos on social media of him training and working out to show his dedication. Probably with some caption about “silencing the haterz” and how he’s a local lad. We’ll try to sell him but won’t get an offer so we’ll keep him (think Darmian). He’ll eventually play and maybe score 3 goals and we’ll give him a new contract.

He's hardly getting a game now and we're bereft in the midfield. If we sign two midfielders he'll end up being the bib and cone guy.

Didn't LVG play him as a wingback for a while at the beginning?? Maybe we can try him there until his contract ends (since i doubt anyone would want to buy him).

no he finally was sold in the summer. I just see a similar situation happening where we might get offers but we’ll turn them down because we want more money for him just like Darmian who we kept on our payroll for 2 seasons as 3rd choice

He's got zero upper body strength, regularly shoved off the ball, and he can't tackle, giving away fouls on a regular basis

Who would buy Lingard and afford his wages? Think we are stuck with him stinking up the place again next season.
That’s why we need to send him out on loan, and if need be subsidize his wages. Same as what’s been done with Alexis.

I’m fine with him sticking around until his contract winds down if the situation is similar to Darmian, or Phil Jones, or Rojo, who barely play at all. The problem with Lingard is that Ole keeps selecting him to start games. He should only be starting games for the reserves.

I think that was a bollocking to do with the hotel room clip. I don't see the club sending a 27 yr old English player away. Its another player to replace while we probably lose Pogba anyway

When is his contract actually up? No one is going to sign him. If I ever win the euromillions I'll buy out his contract so I'll never have to watch him playing for Man Utd again and that is a fact. Ive lost all patience with him after after the hotel room video

What's he actually worth? A cabbage? Two cabbages maybe? If any team is interested just let him go for free.

We can't sell the lad. He's like our mascot.

As long as he's only getting cameos in easy games, i wont be too bothered.

This lad needs a break from football and the opportunity to think about what he wants from the rest of his football career, and I think he'll get it this summer cause there is no way on this form he's going to the Euros....

Don't even need to post how bad he is anymore as his performances do that easily now. Just awaiting that new contract news coming out any day now, as it's obvious that it's happening in the background. A complete fraud who has stole a career out of United. Have absolutely zero sympathy for him.

I've always liked him. I loved that run he went on where he seemed to score a screamer every week. His current form is abysmal though and he's not playing anywhere near well enough to be in the team even semi regularly.

I would be really surprised if he leaves the club. The squad needs strengthening so a forward player with that sort of record doesn't have to play.

Highly annoying how he posts numerous pictures of himself and how he gives his shirt to a ball boy on his Instagram-story after the game(shouldn’t even open it but this clown pops up everywhere).

Somewhat self-centered eh?

There was some media coverage after the Spurs and City game on how he's found form again after a tough period with family issues. With 0 goals and 0 assists, where is that form. How is he allowed to continually step on the pitch while doing absolutely feck all?

Why does no one question Ole about him during his pressers? The media experts are blasting Pogba for not being available for Burnley away after being injured for 3 months while no one questions this guy who's made no contribution in 28 PL games in a year.

This is 10th December when he's added 0 goals/assists to his 0 goals/assists this year. What a legend!

Notice how the likes of Neville, Scholes or Rio have anything to say about Lingard at all
