From today's Kicker:
basically saying that while some people in United's sphere may hope for a summer transfer of Sancho despite Dortmund's "no" the bosses will have a better understanding of the situation and thus intensify their efforts in the direction of another wide attacker: Douglas Costa

Though I don't know why Kicker would know about what United may or may not plan with regards to Costa. He apparently doesn't even have a German agent.
As if Kicker had any clue what we are doing. That's funny

It's fairly obvious we are encouraged by Sancho's camp, otherwise we would have moved on already.

According to Lille president Gerard Lopez, the ball is now in Gabriel's court as he narrowed the options down to Arsenal and Napoli.

You’d think still that surely any player would go to Arsenal over Napoli.

As reported previously, Bielsa will likely renew with Leeds, but the chase for Ben White might end if Brighton remain firm on their stance.

Hasn't Gabriel been narrowing down between Arsenal and Napoli for about three weeks?

Here's a bunch of info on Chelsea's recent transfer dealings. This is basically one article that sums up everything we've learned about Chelsea's activity in the past month or so. Feel free to ignore it if you've already kept up with the news.

Key points:
  • Chelsea are getting closer to what Leverkusen want for Havertz.
  • Chelsea are monitoring Ben White.
    • Leeds submitted a 3rd bid for him and are awaiting a response.
    • White has yet to renew and has been rejecting Brighton's offers.
  • Chelsea see Ben Chilwell as their #1 left back target.
  • Chelsea need to sell defenders before they can buy new defenders.
    • Emerson Palmieri is one candidate.
    • Lampard has been told to sell one his centre backs.
  • Jorginho could also be sold.
There you go; that's a good summary of their transfer activity.

This bit of news was only revealed yesterday/two days ago. The news before that was that Arsenal and Napoli are the only teams to have submitted offers to Lille (whilst we were only in contact with Gabriel's agents).

I'm not sure if Paul Joyce is necessarily reliable for non-Liverpool news, but he doesn't Tweet much in general, so I'm inclined to take his Tweets in general more seriously.

EDIT: Robinson's transfer is official

Now here's something interesting: Reading forward Danny Loader has moved to Porto. I've have thought that he'd make a move to a PL club this summer.

EDIT: He signs for their B team (sort of like how Chris Willock signed for Benfica's B team).

Young United defender Di'Shon Bernard has attracted the attention of Huddersfield, Coventry, and a team in Belgium.

You'd weigh it up wouldn't you?

Arsenal:
Higher profile (As in premier league over serie A)
More Money (presumably?)

Napoli:
Better recent record of Champions league qualification
More chance of being sold if you turn into a star? (Arguable, but that has to factor into players mind set these days)

Certainly not clear cut, similar to us and Dortmund with Bellingham and Haaland for example, I think the next step/move is a huge factor in why players choose the clubs they do now.

Benevento are looking to establish themselves immediately in the Serie A. They've been buying a bunch of experienced Serie A players to give them that know-how and the nous to survive next season.

This time, they have bought midfielder Artur Ionita from Cagliari.

Shame about this. Would have been a good signing for us but no point throwing silly wages about.

Feel sorry for Wigan. Were set to get 6m for him in January and now forced to take 2m.

Aston Villa's potential transfer activity:

It seems like they want to have a fallback to Heaton in case he doesn't seem to work out in the end. Going after a striker is obvious, but the McKennie link intrigues me. I'm not sure if he's the best fit for that club. I think he'll be better off under Hasenhuttl at Southampton who'll make better use of him.

Besides the Ibrahimovic renewal, Milan are also looking to replace Ricardo Rodriguez and be the new backup to Theo.

Their two options:
  • Matias Vina, a young Uruguayan currently in Palermo
  • Iago, a Brazilian full back currently in Augsburg
Just a small correction; Vina plays for Palmeiras in Brazil, not Palermo in Italy. Might have come out wrong in the translation. Pretty decent player.

Arsenal just going to have a squad made up of 60% Brazilians?

Atletico Madrid sign 24-year-old Croatian goalkeeper Ivo Grbic.

I don't think he'll be an Oblak replacement; rather, he'll probably be his backup.

Thought your board wanted to launch him against Arteta's wishes to raise some funds?
In an ideal world, Arteta would gladly keep him but considering the rumoured incomings (Willian, Gabriel and Partey) we're going to have to sell somebody at some point.
He's one of the rare assets we have that we could live with losing so yeah if they really bid 25/30 then he will be gone. It's annoying because i like him as a squad rotation option.

Ah, so that's why Atletico Madrid went after Ivo Grbic; their previous backup keeper Antonio Adan has joined Sporting CP.

can’t say I have seen anything of him
Sport Witness may describe him as a striker, but every time I've watched Betis last season, he hasn't necessarily played as one. He didn't even look like a "star" player as they describe him. He's not a bad player, though; he's an aggressive forward who often looks to breach the defensive lines, and he does tend to get in goalscoring positions. He also has some pace and can stretch defences with it. I don't think he'll improve the sides he's linked with, though, but he will add some depth to all of them.
