Thought it wasn’t his best, but he buried a pen and was a nuisance throughout. Talisman!

So far this season no doubt for me he's the league's best player.

With a similar second half of a season he should have the PFA player of the year award in his pocket.

His defending is ridiculously underrated. He does a lot of sloppy passing, but he’s terrific at winning the ball back in dangerous areas. Absolutely second to none in that regard compared with players in the same position.

His general play can be very underwhelming but like rashford he shows lots of effort. Still not good enough today and needs to also rest. I never use penalties when judging how good a player is. Very misguided stat.

Commander. Leader. Inspirational. Influential. Talisman.

Call him what you want but in 11 months only this man is slowly nailing his spot in the legends list for United

The tackles and ball recoveries are incredible for such a creative/productive player.
If you compare his numbers with Pogba, he was much better defensively but all in all it's good to have both on so if one of them is not on song the other can come up with a performance like that.

Think we shouldfind a fixture when we could rest Bruno and Rashford, they look pretty knackered as of late

That is always Ole's plan. If one is getting marked out, the other will have more space to create etc.

But, as usual, we don't know which Pogba will show up in the game.

His output is just ridiculous. Absolutely outstanding player. He has single handedly pulled us up a level or two.

A true leader by his own action! He put so much in defense, close down, track back...
Insanely hardworking!

His mere presence put a believe on the team. He's leading by example, and connect really well with other creative players.
But yeh, no one, not even Zidane can put a MotM performance in every League game.

Best signing since Cantona? Don't remember any other player making such an impact single-handedly.

Just love this guy. He’s guaranteed to contribute in any game regardless whether he gives a 10/10 or a 5/10 performance. We’re lucky he is a united player. May this, and his good performances, last for years

Looks a bit tired but still our best player.

hope we can find some games to rest him in, don’t want him getting burned out like the tail end of last season.

Any chance he gets a rest in any of our next games? Maybe FA cup 3rd round?

He will play vs City. Then hopefully a rest vs Watford because he’ll likely play vs Burnley. VDB, Mata and others need to be used. Rashford is looking exhausted towards end of the match. He needs a rest too

I think starting him in the FA Cup would be crazy. We should be able to beat Watford without him and have Van De Beek who is a decent player to come in.

not sure we can rest Rashford and Bruno with Cavini suspended. Hopefully both on the next j for the FA Cup tie, but suspect they would be needed to come of the bench.

Would we be in a title race without him? (Not saying we’re a one-man team but let’s be honest)
