Paying 150 million for Mbappe now instead of signing him for free next summer is absurd. Even Messi in his prime isn’t worth those figures one year before the contract expired. Utterly absurd.

Hazard was similar money wasn’t it?

Official: Jurgen Ekkelenkamp leaves Ajax for Hertha Berlin.

That makes yet another young midfielder joining Hertha Berlin.

if they are 100% certain he won't just sign a new contract in the next year, or sign for anyone else, sure

but I think the fact it isn't 100% is why they're paying the money

PSG will be trying to get him to sign a new deal and with the team they are building - they just might have done it

No idea what tier this bloke from Sky Sports belongs to, but it seems the Kounde deal is not moving along as smoothly as previously reported.

I can't stand that shower of twats now, used to be sky sports news on in the back ground over the last few days of a window every year. Now you've got those idiots doing sketches and trying to act like they're down with the kids. Embarrassing rubbish.

Well you never know. Mbappe may want to play with his idol next season :smirk:. That is why madrid are pushing now.

The good news is - for every player of the quality we get in now, the easier it will be to get the next. Not many players in the world will turn down the chance to play with Bruno, Pogba, Ronaldo, Rashford, Maguire, Varane, Sancho, Cavani etc
Yeah there is absolutely no doubt players will be attracted to playing with Ronny but still think a DM is unlikely before Tues

Axel Witsel is available, no idea how he's recently being performing, certainly could get him in before the 31st...

Good player. I think a lot of PL teams who need a goalscorer would do well to get him.

As good as Antonio's been in his first two games this season, West Ham should be on this as well.
From what I’ve heard this is us putting pressure on Arsenal to lower their demands for Nketiah. But we’ll see.

I mean, we’ll go from scoring a few to none at all so it’s technically a transformation
That's why I laugh. Bruno is much better at FKs, and so surely are Pogba, Cavani, Sancho, Rashford..

Of course, Ronaldo is still an unbelievable finisher and header of the ball.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

Marcus is very Ronaldo like in fairness with freekicks - 1 peach every 50. Greenwood was exceptional at them in the u18s both right and left footed but never takes them for the senior team which I’ve always found odd.

He had an achilles injury which had him out from around Jan/Feb this year up until the Euros. From what I've seen, he's been playing as a CB this season for Dortmund oddly enough.

Can't spell Mkhitaryan

Genoa, Felipe Caicedo has arrived in the city

The striker arrived in the morning on a private flight and is ready to start his Rossoblu experience

Three-year contract for the player, who will move to Liguria definitively after his four-year experience at Lazio. In the summer of 2017, the biancoceleste company took the Ecuadorian outright from Espanyol for about 2.5 million euros.

I really don't understand the clubs determination to get Trippier.

Dalot has been hard done by at United imo, going to be a good player for someone else.
Trippier will be a big upgrade on AWB in possession, much better passing and delivery into the box.

I think he's very talented and he will become one of the best RBs in the world. Hope the deal includes a buy back clause.

There is a decent chance you are right but he won't be getting there at United.

We are not good at developing young defenders, especially fullbacks.

People complain about AWB being not good enough. Dalot is nowhere near him. And, they are similar age.

I really doubt he will improve much at this point for us.

Not sad to see him go, isn't a particularly good footballer. Something must be in the pipeline for Trippier then, I'd be really happy with him.

Game of opinions and all that but I’ve genuinely seen nothing to even help me see why we bought him, much less that he might become one of the best RBs in the world.

Getting rid of Dalot and replacing him with Trippier makes sense... but going into the rest of the season with McFred and Matic as our options for the central midfield is a recipe for disaster. We can't tell our opposition not to play through the middle of the park...
