It's really hard to judge Ferrari from that photo honestly.

Looks like Masi has been removed and reassigned elsewhere, says everything that needs to be said about Abu Dhabi. The guy took the championship out of Hamilton's hand and gave it to Verstappen, whether intentionally or not.
Yep, Masi has been officially removed now. I would have thought that's enough for Hamilton to stay for at least another year now, assuming they give the two new people more support and clarify the rules.

The comment from Sulayem in the statement about the restructure is something to hold them to now. He called it a sport, so the rules cannot be changed on a whim regardless of entertainment.

The Ferrari looks like the F92A, which was an absolute dog of a car. Ferrari hoping it won't be like that.

I hope you are right. Just seems like a pointless exercise to have 2 different people doing it. Perhaps seeing which works best and giving them the role?
Eduardo Freitas as a race director is a very smart choice. He has zero emotion in WEC, which is what's needed in this role to manage the prima donna sporting directors.
Was thinking about that and of course football refs. Perhaps this helps if one is sick or otherwise unable to attend. Either way, positive step to see Masi go. He sounded totally out of his depth even before the final race.

Perhaps. I wouldn't mind it being split between even more if qualified and capable people are found. The race director really shouldn't be at the center of attention anyway and I hope F1 finds a way back to the days when we rarely heard from them and when we did there was no argument to be had (red flagging after crashes etc.).
Charlie Whiting is hugely missed. Above all he was largely respected by everyone, but that was due to consistent decision making.

Right so now that there's been an investigation, results reported to the teams, Masi's fecked off, regulation changes to stop Spa 21 repeating itself among other things, are you lot satisfied? Can we properly get on with the new season now?
Had to happen really, although not publishing the report yet makes me skeptical he's just a scapegoat for someone else who was pressuring to do it. Ultimately still his call though.
