I take it I'm not the only one who wants City to win? As much as I don't like them I want everything imagable in life to go wrong for Stevie G.
No, I'm 100% behind you. I want City to win the league this season. Feck Arsenal or Chelsea fans getting a title after we softened City up all these years. And after those fans supported an oil nation over a properly run club.

I want to see City over take their PL title wins record for the karma of their support.

This was always going to be a tough game, especially if city didn’t score early. Villa are desperate for the points and plus going off last season Gerrard knows how to set up against them. Haaland can’t also score multiple times every game. Don’t get me wrong, city will likely win this, but it was never going to be a case of just showing up and having the win in the bag.

Villa look absolutely she’ll shocked every time they get the ball. Pure panic and unsure what to do. Wouldn’t think they are pro footballers. Terrible stuff.
They are terrified of City at home. They are playing on borrowed time right now. At some point the City players will decide to pass the ball to Haaland and that will be that.

Think he is only going to play periodically.
Guy is ancient. Eriksen is a spring chicken in comparison.
My fantasy team doesn't care. And they are only 3 years apart (and a few days).

He started their last 3 games to be fair, and they have CL on Wednesday. 5 games in 2 weeks is probably beyond him at this age.
Good point but I thought he'll play every week and be taken off early.

Youngy still battling, love to see it.

And again, that's a nothing burger in the duel between Konsa and Ederson. But goalie gets the benefit of the call.

It's ridiculous that that was given as a foul on Ederson. I'm not really sure how you are supposed to challenge a keeper on a cross once they've decided to claim it at this stage.

City away from home will be a lesser side than at home this season imo. Could make a title race out of it I suppose

Mings trying to pull the hardman act after getting flattened by Haaland, he’s such a dickhead.

Rogers is very good at inheriting useful squads but not so good at developing them. Record speaks for itself - Reading, Swansea, Liverpool and now Leicester. He twice let top four slip after being there all season. Messed up Leicester's best chance of becoming established. Now the slide is inevitable.

Villa has kept a very good shape, while City are a little sloppy in their passing and final ball.

City need to put more balls in behind Villa's backline, forcing them to turn. They had some half chances earlier on.

Grealish and Mahrez will be able to make an impact, but Villa have to keep their shape and then give themselves outlets in the middle. Douglas Luiz and McGinn have been solid for Villa, as has Watkins in his limited touches.
