He rarely loses the ball. Very, very rarely.
Which is huge!

He didnt score or assist, could have, but he makes the team more likely to win with what he offers on and off the ball. He starts always.

Yeah in that respect he’s a very different winger to someone like Nani, which is surprising to me. He works hard, keeps possession ticking over, but has that obvious attacking quality which we need to learn how to exploit a bit better.

Really good first in particular, unlucky to hit the post with that shot. His workrate is fantastic.

I'm pretty pleased with him so far. Think he'll get 10 goals at least in his first season here and he's made that spot his own. A lot more to come from him as well.

Seriously, he’s like what Sancho could be if he had the arrogance.

Sancho: Right I’ll try to take this guy on.

Antony. Right try and get the fakin ball off me.

Fantastic tonight. Love his effort, never say die, constantly asking for the ball and constantly dangerous for the opponent.

Feels good to have an actual right winger

He was class today. Very difficult to stop him from coming inside and his shooting from distance is lethal.

He and Sancho either side just never give the ball away. It’s incredible balance around the box

Antony was far more proactive today and that really helped us. Showed the confidence to dribble people, chose the right passes. I really feel his fanboyism of Ronaldo hurts him. When Ronaldo is on the pitch all Antony sees is him, all he tries to do is pass to Ronaldo. Its not Ronaldo's fault the kid idolises him. However, iwithout his idol blinding him Antony saw the game better.

It certainly does help that both wide players don't turnover the ball a lot as it helps the balance of the side helps us sustain pressure. Many good moments in particular for Antony tonight.

Plenty to work on but satisfied with Antony so far. Onwards and upwards.

His workrate off the ball is incredibly good. Hard working technical dribbler from Brazil. Whats not to like?

You can't commit against him as a defender. You have to double him up and then cover both sides. That Perisic incident was funny though.

I thought he was excellent. He's capable of creating that yard of space for a shot really well, just needs to get some shooting lessons from Rashford (in terms of striking technique, not finishing )

He may never become a 100m or whatever player. But his work rate allowed the team to play at higher intensity, along with Bruno and Fred when he is playing. If we get someone like him on the other wing, we would be up there with the best at playing counter pressing style.

He's more of an enabler type of player, drags a lot of attention, creates opening etc. I wouldn't expect crazy numbers from him, although his shooting looks good.

He’s great. Not fussed about the weak foot thing. Robben made a career out of it.

Best match so far. Great to watch and he’s linking well with the other forwards.

Cost a lot but he's still an important piece we've been lacking for a decade. I think also ETH knows just how important he is off the pitch in leading by example, one of his men, he's so driven and determined he can help with the winning factor.

People talk about Fergie signings a lot but I think he'd actually be one and would fly to Amsterdam.

Good but my only criticism is there seems to be a real lack of attacking chemistry between him and Dalot so far. So many times Dalot's overlaps get ignored, the examples of good link up between them is few and far between, we need to see them combine to work some dangerous crossing opportunities.

His workrate is really quite special for a player with as much flair and technical ability as he has. The best thing about Antony is that he gives us balance. He drew players out to him all game, creating space for Fred and Bruno in the middle. He burns past people with that pace and the ball sticks to his feet like glue. If he can take his delivery up a notch, which I am sure he will, he will be world class. He's a constant threat. We haven't had a balanced forward line like this in a long time.

When all fit, Antony, Rashford, Martial and Sancho is a superb set of varied forwards to choose from. All at a great age too. Martial the oldest at 26, Rashford 24 (25 at the end of this month), Sancho and Antony both 22. If we still had Greenwood too, it'd be fecking ridiculous. Still need to add another forward to the mix for the variation, and to have a more natural number 9. We play best with three fluid forwards, but Martial is the only one of the four that is a natural finisher (if not a natural poacher). If we can ship out that human codpiece Ronaldo and bring in another central forward, we will be in great shape moving forwards.

Love Antony. There was a sequence in the second half, about 70 odd minutes in, at 2-0, where we lost the ball and he sprinted back some 60 odd yards like his life depended on it, to close the ball down. This from a player who when he is on the ball can look as elegant and composed as someone like Rivaldo (without the final ball quality), yet with pace and work rate. And no, I am not saying he is as good as Rivaldo, but I am saying that by his mid twenties, there is no reason why he can't be genuinely world class. He has all the ingredients, or at least the makings of them, and his attitude seems absolutely first rate. He just has that cockiness and assuredness that I think is going to see him become a really huge player for the club. A lot of players come to OT with tons of potential or reputations, and it all seems a little much for them in the end, but Antony has looked right at home since day one. He has that character. He's very sure of himself, but you can see he drives for excellence, and is willing to put it all on the line. Top player.

Yes that moment was 'ridiculous'. He has standards of himself and knows the coach expects that of him too. It spreads and sets an example for each player. The 4 signings have honestly been great in their mentality off and on the ball.

Those runs are sometimes to take a player away though, sometimes players make runs to simply occupy space or take a player away.

I think the passing movements are something ETH expects with putting the ball in the midfield again and try and probe through the blocks, I could be wrong though.

United haven't scored any really this season from crossing. When we did we get a 50p head moment like Rashford did in the first half.

Rashford isn't a great header of the ball either, look at Newcastle in the 93rd minute.

When he actually gets at people and takes people on he is so skilful. It’s a joy too watch his level of skill.

Needs to work on his right foot, day in day out.

Rashfords striking techniques is I’ll go for power . I’ll take Antony’s technique any day.
