Why the hell is this taking so long? It’s getting ridiculous now. I went into Sainsbury’s yesterday and bought a block of butter and I was out within a few minutes. This is taking months.
The irony when you realise it's still likely faster than getting a new car.

Can’t wait for the sale to go through just so I never have to witness the current owners referred to as ‘Glaziers’ ever again!
I enjoy when I see "Glaziers". It makes me laugh. It's up there with other gems like Janujaz, Verane etc.

I'm more surprised by sport journalists than fans. The Commanders, an NFL team, has been for sale for roughly the same amount of time and it's not closer to a sale.

Trust the Glazers to drag this out so long that any excitement or interest just deteriorates entirely. This is worse than some of the transfer sagas we have had to endure. Boring.

Qatar will win the bid but it won't be in time to salvage our summer transfer window.
Might be selective memory on my part but didn’t the city owners get city with like a week or 2 left of the window and squeeze in Robinho? (And tried to sign Berbatov too)

Whoever wins the bid will be in exclusive negotiation during the final phase, so it's likely that it won't affect the summer transfer at all. As an example Boehly wasn't the owner of Chelsea until the end of May 2022. The other thing is that it's almost guaranteed that the people currently working for United and on building the team will be around for the first months following the takeover and maybe way beyond that.

It was deadline day. They got Robinho and tried to sign Berbatov, Mario Gomez and David Villa. I wouldn't imagine this would be the same though given what a shambles City were at the time and given we're starting from a much stronger position.

I will never understand Janujaz.

As bad as the other typos are, they're somewhat understandable phonetically. I have no idea how anybody can arrive at Janujaz - it doesn't even remotely resemble the pronunciation of the name!

So are they just gonna keeping having more rounds until they get what they want? Why does everything we do as a club have to be so drawn out?

Ffs this isn't going to be done by the start of the window. We can't afford to waste time this summer, it's so important for us, especially getting a striker in early. Fecking hate those rats so much.

At this rate, the bidders are eventually going to do what old Malc should've done 60+ years ago, and pull out.

Thanks.

While you’d want new ownership in in time for the transfer window opening, I also think United could satisfy Ten Hags demands if they came before August and were willing to spend

Not that it surprises me but once again United fans are basically hostages to these vile cnuts.

Yet, I don't see the Arse fanbase and leadership on a crusade about that but they're ready to cry if we get the financial muscle that's due to our size and success. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Harry McGuire/Macguire is up there too.
I see your Glaziers and McGuire and raise you an Ericsson.

Might as well have some fun since the leeches are not selling until they are literally holding a gun to our transfer window.

The summer will most likely be impacted, club will either be in limbo or still controlled by Glazers, neither scenario is beneficial. People like Arnold and Murtough have no control over how much and when funds are available so any uncertainty over the ownership will potentially cause delays an issues.

Not a great example. Chelsea had a very reactive and scattergun summer transfer window, largely as a result of the uncertainty surrounding their sale.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

We have access to the credit facility still this summer - it could just be treated as business as usual until the sale. The people making the decisions over who to sign and sell will be doing so regardless of who owns us unless the new owner goes full Boehly and ditches everyone with no replacement.

It will take until late may until we know if there is a winner I guess.

It was a chaotic window for them. It would be a catastrophe if our new owners have only two weeks left in the window because that means we already started the season. We need 2 big signings that needs maybe the whole summer to work on.

The point was about the ability to spend, not the quality of spending. United have a manager and management structure in place, Chelsea didn't due to Abramovich people leaving before the sale.
