fecking bring back Ighalo or Fellaini please. Lord, I have erred.
He actually makes me miss Fellaini, and I strongly disliked him!! At least he could head the ball into the blinking net, you know like a striker is supposed to...

I cannot believe people want him signed permenantly. We shouldn't be accepting his level if we want to win trophies

If I'm Pellistri id leave

The fact an on loan not fit for purpose striker is continuing to get minutes, even shoe horning better players out of position to accommodate him, while I sit on the bench having done ok in my little cameos....

Convinced at this point he's got a dossier on ETH

Did okay today. Doesnt really help him that Bruno and Rashford rather swallow broken glass than pass him the ball.
No offense but not sure what do you mean by decent. He looks busy at contributing nothing. He rarely does anything useful with the ball, nor his off ball work gain any meaningful result. Perhaps this is on ETH, but Weghorst position/role is all over the place. It complicated and confused everyone. Not the first time.

If other players have no issue playing with others, but suddenly turn to shite with certain player around, then it's obvious that certain player is the issue.

It's starting to look a bit silly now. He's not even playing as a striker with his positoning on the pitch, so his "advantages" over options like Pellistri are so dubious it is becoming really hard to get behind ETH's fascination with him.

If he was playing in the frontline, why the feck didn't Pellistri come on?

If he was playing in midfield, why the feck didn't Sabitzer come on?

I didn't mention the word decent I think? Meant in the sense that he didn't do anything wrong. He obviously has no place in the side, since he cant actually head a ball which is why you bring on a tall guy.

Wait he did 1 thing blatantly wrong, that hand in the face conceding a dangerous free kick.

It's just a baffling signing even as a loan, but it's not his fault Ten Hag called him :wenger:

I'm starting to worry that ETH actually does rate him as a backup option and will move to sign him permanently in the summer

I've had about enough. In the beginning there was room in a side for a hard-working forward without much threat, because the team was ticking and winning anyway. But now we actually need him to do more than run around, and he just isn't capable of that.

Sorry, but he is completely useless. I really do hope this doesn't turn permanet.

I mean it's still mildly amusing watching him get frustrated and try to punch people these days

Does he have anything on EtH? Why does he keeping getting subbed on? Never seen as poor a player as him in a United shirt and have seen plenty in my time including Djemba twins, Obertan, Dong, Bebe, and Iglaho.

Manchester United squad minutes per goal this season:

1. Rashford 131
2. Martial 157
3. Garnacho 266
4. Sabitzer 309
5. Sancho 319
6. Fred 333
7. Antony 343
8. Bruno 445
9. Mctominay 550
10. Casemiro 641
11. Weghorst 768
12. Eriksen 1302

The only players in the squad with a worse MPG ratio than him are Eriksen, Shaw, Dalot and Martinez. 25 games played and 2 rebounds against Betis and Forest. Abysmal.

HELLO
I’m guessing the youth striker situation is quite dire too? Because Fergie would’ve played anyone over persisting with someone like this

One has to question the wisdom of a manager that keeps giving this guy minutes at 10

Confused the feck out of me. Some moment he got into the box, which pushed Rashford, Martial and Bruno outwide like wingers in 4-4-2 formation.

Next we're outfought by Kane dropping deep to make a pseudo 3 men midfield because Weghorst doesn't know how to play in midfield properly. We got worse and lost creativity.

If Martial is injured, or needed rest, I can understand his sub like at 2-0 against Sevilla at home, Nottingham Forest, FA Cup semi final. Even when Martial came off injured away to Sevilla. Today is inexcusable. He got the subbed and deployed as no 10, while other players shifted around. The tactic became a mess. We should have option for the wing, to keep Bruno at no 10.

Before his sub, even when Tottenham put us under immerse pressure, we still create thing. Thing went puffed with his sub. We neither got more control, had more fight in midfield, nor creating opening in final third.

I think the most depressing sight in all my years as a United fan is when we need a goal and you see Weghorst getting ready to be subbed on.

Certain subs give you a false sense of hope that something could happen but with Weghorst it's confirmation of defeat.

I don't think it's ever that great to get on the backs of your own players. However, I really can't wait until we stop playing this guy. An utter waste of a squad place and a completely useless sub. This experiment has fallen flat on its face.

I love his effort, but.....that's where it ends. This guy is NOT a Manchester United player. I'm not even sure if he's an EPL player. Other than his work ethic, I can't think of one thing that he does well. I like ETH but I'm not sure what he's seeing in him to keep playing him.

How did he score goals in Turkey?
Enner Valencia scored 27 goals in 26 appearances in Turkish league this season. Enner Valencia didn't do well in PL with West Ham and Everton either. Perhaps it's the league quality?

If he wants that, the board should veto him.

It's a disgrace that Weghorst keeps getting minutes. We have options now and our manager keeps playing him.

Maybe it's a sign our manager worryingly rates Weghorst.

It was fun for a little while, but now it's not.
Pretty much this. Wout doesn't even appear to be trying to add a new dimension to his game, however difficult that may actually be at his age. Still, he's been given the chance of a lifetime to play for United and he should be doing everything possible to add something to his game.

That's the thing though, he wasn't brought on as a striker. He was brought on to play no10 and link our whole attack together.

Will be in top 10 worst players to ever play for United, at least in modern times.
