So are the Glazers just going to continue to ignore both bidders until they decide to up their bid or threaten to walk away? They really are the worst. Shameless fecking parasites.

Custis seems pretty set on it, but, even for him, the writing is terrible and it reads like something he banged out while he was on the bog. Makes me think there's not much in it.

No he did , so maybe there’s some legs to this. He’s been consistent that Qatar will buy us and it’s a matter of when
I cant take him seriously. I still remember when Ole was sacked and he came out with that outrageous claim that Brendan Rogers had been offered the job. How can he go from making up nonsense like that to getting it right about this?

If you want distract from something as big as the MG news, then you hardly do it by briefing only The Sun and them only. Barely anyone cares what that tabloid comes out with.

The glazers should know where this going if they choose to stay. United will keep falling behind the better run clubs in the league. They should have some sense to cash in while the stick.is high because I genuinely believe we are in for a rough season if we don't invest in our midfield.

What's the general consensus then ladies and gents? We going with custis or keegan? Or both full of...
I think Keegan lost his contact months ago. He and The Times went from posting the same articles simultaneously to nothing. He went from Qatar to posting Jims briefing to this

100% agree. They only need to look at the insane prices of transfers this summer to see that their business model is not sustainable.

The whole thing is so odd. One journalist is hanging his hat on a sale. Then multiple come out and say its rubbish nothing had changed.

I mean I know there is no comeback on them for getting it wrong but surely your pride would take a battering if you were completely wrong and looking like you made it up.

Happens every time the story seems to slightly move forward. If they are unsure of the “breaking news” or they don’t have it at all then they just say nothing has changed. Not saying Custis is correct but we did have a Times sports reporter try to correct the FT not that long ago.
Anybody can believe what they want but I’d be shocked that deadlock and nothing happening is where we’ve been at for the last 3 months. Personally I don’t think it’s a coincidence that updates dried up when it was revealed Jim’s bid wasn’t even legal.

Yeah have to say I agree with you. Can't see a potential buyer just sitting there for 3 months in the dark. If they have been they are extremely patient.

So Custis says the club will be sold in October.
Ornstein saying there will be a resolution (sale or no sale) after the transfer window closes.
Jassim's dad just put up for sale two properties in London for $500m.

I start to wonder the £5 billion figure is for the 69% the glazers own or the full valuation of the club. The Cardiff chairman quoted the figure 7.2B last week if multiply 69% which is equal to 5b. If this is the case the glazers are asking a hefty sum of money.

Obertans #1 fan.
After the positive Mason news, it’s great to see it looking like the Qatari bid has stalled as well. Hopefully, some sense of pride can return.

Wild that Mike Keegan is now somehow now considered a reliable source

Absolutely. It would be wonderful if Qatar would just feck off now and United can continue to be United without the stain of sportswashing, treating women as second class citizens, slavery and homophobia.

Be great if someone sound came in, but most able bidders would be more palatable than the Qatari bid. I wonder are there many anti-Greenwood, pro-Qatar posters. Seems like a confused stance to have if I'm honest.

Many would argue both are negative things.

We've lost a wonderfully gifted young player, who clearly made some seriously poor decisions, and the club has been humiliated in the process.

And now we'll be stuck with the parasitical Glazers for many more years to come.

Yep, break out the champagne...

Saw sky sports videos talking about takeover being likely by October, then come here to see it's probably all bollocks. Back to the misery

feck no, they've given up and are leaving the country.

feck yes, they're forking up the money to meet the valuation.
I thought his dad was richer than God? Hard to believe he'd need to flog his property portfolio to pay for his son's new toy.

The leaches might just be afraid of leaving as the club is on the up. At the very least might feel ETH is a yearly CL guarantee. They will disappear when it becomes apparent we need another 100 million quid of investments

And INEOS is developing a new inefficient gas guzzling jeep veering to the left with a massive windshield called the "United". Or the Canyonero
