Fully expecting the scum to put the money from Ratcliffe's 25% purchase straight into their own pockets.

Well that's the end for a once great club, when You know your history its sickening to know that for the foreseeable future we will have owners who have no interest in winning trophies there only interest is bleading the club dry.

I hope we get an official announcement on Monday confirming the INEOS agreement at least. Cannot take any more of this shite. Praying that there is some kind of binding agreement for them to buy the whole thing within a few years, but seriously doubt it based on the wording in the Bloomberg article. Will be interesting to see how they justify rejecting Jassim's offer otherwise, because the funds and other Class A shareholders would have all gotten a massive premium now.
100% we need some sort of news now. It’s getting utterly ridiculous at this point. Needs sorting the the stadium fixing for starters.

The club was the third best team in the country last year and was one of only two teams to win a trophy.

That’s genuinely a good time. Had some great days out with my mates. Atmosphere was great as well.
You praise what we mocked other clubs for. Top 3 trophy.

And leave out the toxic atmosphere that got managers sacked? Nothing beats an atmosphere of a league or CL winning team. You live in delusion.

I expect to see with a Glazers in poster at the next game then? Joel Glazer haircut maybe?

If the rumours of a Qatar withdrawal are true then the ‘need’ for Jim to agree to a minority deal is surely no longer there?

Awful stuff. Final nail in the coffin for United as a top club.

There are a bunch of posters letting themselves down and embarrassing themselves. I literally just want the best for the club now. Let’s hope all the real fans of the club get behind new owners!
We need to actually get new owners first for “real fans” to be able to do that

No you haven't, you essentially released weekly newsletters about how depressed you were under Mourinho.
Not to forget his tantrums and mental gymnastics when anyone criticized our previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Who’s to say the no-name Shiek would have ran us that well? I mean what’s his track record in sport? Does he even have one?

I never wanted Qatar (you can check my poll history), but I am absolutely devasted those leeches are hanging on. On the face of it this is the worst possible outcome.

Hopefully we will now get the full plan laid out for us from INEOS, with definite investments and plans for the future. If not, it could get a bit nasty. The feeling is the club and fans have been screwed by this.

Is there still hope?

The feckers don’t seem to be going anywhere.
i think INEOS will eventually take control. It’s been my preferred result all along

to be honest though Im never going to pack it in no matter what happens

What's with this stadium hyperbole? It needs a lick of paint but it's an iconic huge ground? Give me OT over the new shite anyday.

Invest in the training facilities etc yeh great. Screams of a bunch of people who've never been before talking bollocks.

fecking fantastic news. Thank feck. Don't have to see our club become a political toy, sugar daddy club.

We'll get back to the top eventually, and it'll be all the sweeter for it when we get there by doing things the right way. Might be some pain until then, but being a state owned club was the last thing I wanted for us

United is completely soulless and has been since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. It's an American mega-corporation masquerading as a football club that lacks any direction or personality and focuses on flashy signings rather than on-field results to appease shareholders. Unless you think a club that doesn't invest in its iconic stadium, academy or training ground is a soulful club. The United of old is dead and has been for a very long time.
Great post. A lot of mental gymnastics are required to write that the club still has a soul after the last 10 years under the Glazers and the likes of Ed Woodward.

This reminds me of two things from the early weeks of this ‘process’:

1. People talking about Ratcliffe as the guy who wins these deals by being the last guy standing. Here we’re are, 10 months later or whatever it is.
2. The fact there were absolutely no assurances given about clearing historical debt or investment in the stadium, unlike the Qatari bid. The cost and timescale of control of the has only increased for him. Not sure it bodes well.

We don’t want the Glazer’s to stay but this shiek was a bluffer. If he really had a the backing of Qatar we’d be in their hands by now.

End of the day if you can’t get the deal done it’s obvious maybe their plan wasn’t all that great. I heard zero in terms of their plan for the club it was all just “yeah we are gonna maybe bring this legend back”.

He didn’t even come to the day when people could look round the stadium.

Jim did and has a track record in sport. I do feels INEOS could do bits with a large club like United. They would have very good people behind the scenes for one. That’s a given with their resources and contacts in sport.
He really was. His PR game wasn't even that good, but apparently pSg was enough to make some people dream. They just kept going on and on about how they were going to invest that 1 billion.... well wake up folks, you have to actually win the bid first, and public support has feck all effect on the process...

I'm conflicted with my support of the team to my detest to these greedy selfish owners

My hate towards the glazers is stronger at the moment, and so I'm feeling I'd rather we get relegated just so these greedy owners lose money. They are a cancer.

Maybe my thought on this will change in time, but I'm just so deflated and angry currently.

I don't care for any minority takeover (even if it leads to a majority as I don't trust the Glazers at all), I wanted Glazers fully gone.

Yeah. He is coming for his slice of the dividend, nothing else. Another old greedy parasite.

What's needed is an empty stadium on match days, protests causing the closure of the merch shop, boycott everything United, basically shut it down.

But that's never happening so we suck it up and hope a miracle happens.

Or maybe this is all a ploy to force the Glazers to make a final decision.....
Ah yeh, the guy worth tens of billions is coming for the £3million dividends.

We aren't going to win shit with him Jim as a mere minority shareholder for another decade but let's hope for some improvement at least.

Please be fecking true, come on Sir Jim it’s your time to come in with a mega rich consortium and lead us back to the very top of the game.
Sir Jim already owns 2 clubs if he was any good as an owner they would be winning things THEY ARE NOT.

He offered double the club's worth. The Glazers didn't sell because they never wanted to sell. They just wanted investment so they had enough money to continue running the club without giving away control. Looks like INEOS has given them exactly what they wanted.

Perhaps an interview would be in order so we know he's not an AI.
 There’s like one same stock photo of this guy on the internet that is used on every tweet. Did the guy they used for the photoshoot disappear?
