Pakistan captain is a moron. Shocking batting, running, decision making.

All over. Good win for Australia.

If they fix their middle order, they'll be formidable

2 potential banana skins for Australia and they've been utterly gifted both. Surely they'll hit form sooner or later.

I might sound bitter but genuinely Australia have been gifted these two matches.

Yes they have been gifted. But they don't seem to be that amazing. If Ind or Eng bring their A game, can't see Aussies winning this WC.

Tomorrow's wash out pretty good for India & NZ. Everyone else is getting washed out against shit teams, while they get to split points between themselves as two of the stronger teams.

Seems most teams are struggling to get to grips with the conditions - characterized by silly shot selection and middle/lower order collapses. Aus just very good at capitalizing on opportunities.

Sarfaraz takes the single! Why!

Eng/ WIndies could be a cracker. West Indies are the outsiders that can still come in top 4 at the expense of NZ.

Even though we lost, i enjoyed the game. It had the appeal of a plucky amateur outfit against professionals.

Yeah they are beatable but never underestimate their mentality at world cups - especially as there’s still a bit of an improvement that can be made. They’re struggling with their 4th/5th bowlers choices, which will prove costly IMO.

Still have England and India as overwhelming favorites.

Meh not the worst thing but would still prefer a full match since I am confident of beating them.

Akthar really doesn't like Sarfaraz.

What’s he getting at? Who was he attacking in particular
Sarfaraz. Sarfaraz took a single in the last ball when Shaheen was batting, rather than taking the strike himself for the next over.

Don’t usually agree with Akhtar, but he’s absolutely right.

Just watching the highlights here. Pakistan's first 3 wickets were avoidable. 3 poor shots

Edit make that their first 4

Ah - fair fecks in that case.

Still can’t believe we lost that game - such a wounder. This Pak team can beat anyone but just some stupid shit in the silliest situations.

He has to take every run going surely? Can't just hog the strike?

I disagree. He just spent pretty much the entire over on the non-strikers end watching two tailenders get out and a third one just about survive. Should’ve stayed there for the final ball as well. Next over he could’ve attacked the bowling. Afridi didn’t know where the ball was going in the last over.
