Been traveling through Norway on 12-23th of July. Drove from Oslo to Bergen, up to Alesund, and back to Oslo.

Just shocked by Norway’s beauty! No words.

Very sensibly organized society and down to earth people. Now, I see why Norway tops world happiness rankin:)) Ole fits a Norwegian stereotype in my head perfectly now :D

I think, Kristiansund trip is perfect addition to pre season tour for both players and manager. I’m happy for Ole. He brought legendary club to small town where he was born and raised.

Players surely (guaranteed!) are going to be stunned and inspired by Norway and have more connection to the gaffer.

P.S. Oslo is fantastic city but, in my view, is least impressing part of Norway. Not because it’s bad. However, When I saw United banner on the last day of my stay (Scandinavian United Supporters office), I was really touched. It made my trip just perfect. Thanks, Norway.
Up to Alesund...pfft
If you have to travel around Norway you go UP to Skarsvag, like a real man!

Swap one of Matic or McTominay with Pogba and I think that'll be the starting 11 come Chelsea. James has started every pre season game so I can't see him being left out after having so much prep, the CB to partner Lindelof might change but they're all the same quality. Ole likes Lingard.

Even if we sign someone, they won't have trained with us enough by then, so would likely be on the bench only.

oh, come on, game is in 19:00?? and I came home early to prepare, now have to wait for another hour and then some, crap.
surely you can't be old :)

I remember when I was a kid - and there were about 12-14 matches shown live on tv from about november to february. The 2-3 times United were live, I was so excited I was looking forward to it all day.

Seeing Lingard in the starting 11 is giving me shudders he will probably start against Chelsea.

Jones is playing, and will be best player of the game and will fly to Leicester as part of swap with McGuire. Maguire.

Do I have to take my coat? It is hot in here.

I agree, but Fred has barely had any minutes and I would personally like to see Fred next to Pogba. So far we have seen the following partnerships:

Matic Pereira
McTominay Pogba
Matic Pogba
McTominay Fred
Matic Fred

With it looking likely that McTominay, Pogba, Matic and Fred will be in the deeper positions, its only right to see what Fred is like as a 6 next to Pogba, in my opinion.

I have no doubt that McTominay/Pogba will be the pivot against Chelsea, though.
So it seems Ole has gone with one of the pivots we have yet to see in McTominay and Matic. This means that its likely we'll see a Pogba/Fred partnership in the second half.

Matic and McTominay midfield pairing doesn’t particularly excite!

How so? Is this game some sort of indication about how we will pick our true starting XI?
Considering it's the 2nd last pre-season game before the first game of the season, then yes, it is probably the best indication of the lineup we'll start with vs Chelsea. Pogba looks to be on the bench so we have some relative experience in the 2nd half when the wholesale changes (if there are any) occur.

I die a little everytime I see Jones in the lineup. Especially so close to the start of a new season

I’m interested to see who starts up top, Martial or Rashford. Last time they both started Martial did.
