I think... yes! There's a feature in a save-game inspection website that shows the total size of the country. I don't know how they make that determination, but I'm pretty sure you're in the millions of square kilometers now.

This is actually an interesting topic. Barring an extraordinary eventuality whereby OP, Veeva, and I crush Solius and his minions, it's pretty clear who will have the greatest empire at the end of the game.

The converter is still a very early version, so who knows if it even works properly actually running it. Also who knows how well an "Experiment" would even work with that game. But it's at least remotely feasible to convert save games over.
