A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.

I'm trying to write a player list now and its slowing down alarmingly already. If you did play you wouldn't be the only one struggling!

I'm really struggling. Just resorting to writing down every world cup finalist first team player from the 60/70's.

1. What is the definition of peak, as it pertains to this draft? And what kind of duration does it entail? An international tournament when the player caught fire in an otherwise vanilla career? A season? And taking from that :

Suppose player X embarrassed player Y in a tournament at his peak, but apart from that instance, player Y consistently had player X's number, be it in domestic or competitions competitions. Does the argument that player X overwhelmed player Y in a head-to-head at their peak, hence there in as inherent advantage 1v1 seem reasonable?
This is a vintage rules draft, so the peak is a 3 year one.

As for the rest, that argument has been used a lot of times and it depends on the players in question. I personally don't go by one-offs but rather the strengths and weaknesses of the two players and whether on paper they give one of them an advantage or not. It is upto you in the end.

I don't like the 1v1 arguments.. What qualities they bring to the team, how they'd work with the players around them and how they would fit into the tactics is more important for me.

Me neither. Football isn't a game of 1 vs 1. If it was, the game would be very boring and predictable.

From the chain draft final thread:

Tell you something come one hell of a long way since the classic "newbie sheep drafts", Iain Dowie says hello! Seriously though super teams and if there is room on the next draft count me in.

I put @Chesterlestreet in Annah's spot. One more open until @sallycinnamin confirms or declines.

The pool is extremely shallow so I don't think there should be any restrictions but that one GOAT needs to be banned imo.
Yeah, the problem is that luck 'o the draw could be extremely important to begin with if the are no blocked GOATS.

Fair point but it's the usual case as in most drafts. I count 12 GOATs for the upper and mid echelons of managers, and then several fantastic players, with whom you can pull of a great double combo for the lower echelon. Just about balances it out imo.

Really? Ffs. I might actually have to do some research ahead of the first pick.
