Yeah. A menace throughout the game. Incredible work rate up and down the pitch.

Just need a bit more on the final third, but encouraging performance.

Very threatening. Good signs. Still not as clinical as we want but I'm a lot happier seeing him miss opportunities than failing to get in to games.

One of the worst culprits in our struggle with finishing chances but outside of that he's had a decent game. At least he's always involved — and a great assist for our first one.

This guy plays AGAINST our team. There is no other explanation for his low IQ decision making.

World class at getting to good positions to score. And he genuinely deserves credit for that. But the finishing… Although today he did well in going for near post and forcing brilliant saves from the keeper.

Pretty good. That header was diabolical though. That's a brilliant chance, exactly the type you need wide forwards to score at the back stick. Needs to work on that. And his general finishing. I was pleased to see him attempt the near post. He didn't quite get the power and direction to score but it was a nice change from every shot being curled into the far corner. That shit is too predictable.

All teams miss chances. Our misses our compounded by the fact that we miss almost all our chances. He was very, very good today. I don't understand the criticism he gets. He always gets himself into threatening positions; yes, he can improve in certain areas but it almost feels like people (not you) are hesitant to praise him.

First time he looked like Nani, without the two footedness. Lively with poor decisions.

Can't deny that he's dangerous. He seems to get on the ball a lot and gets into great positions. I like a lot of things about him, but his finishing leaves a lot to be desired. He's frustrating, because clearly there is something there, but it's unknown really if he'll ever get over that hurdle to be the player he can be. Huge season for him next year.

It's a shame he's so brainless because outside the box he carries the ball well and works hard off it. Makes good runs as well.

Just utterly useless in making the right decision at the end of it.

Dangerous throughout, could/should have come out of that game with more end product.

15-20 goals next season if he works on his finishing and his decision making improves.

I don't think he's good enough at all but he's better than all our attackers except Rashford and Garnacho.

I think he did well? Very unlucky not to score and the ball always sticks, he trusted his pace more today.

Feel like when things click for him he will be a 20 goal a season winger.

He just needs to become a bit smarter when he is getting close to the goal. It is the most difficult thing to improve but if he manages to improve that part of his game he will be a really good player. He is still young so there is time for him.

Take a quick look when on the ball or, even better, already know the situation before receiving the ball. Not always blindly go for the shot. He is slowly improving over the season so hopefully he steps it up next season.

We one went one nil up because of a great decision at a crucial moment, so obviously not “useless”. Does need to improve though.

There is so much potential there. Once he is more refined he will be a mainstay in the team for 10 more years.

He played well but his finishing needs big improvement. He also shoots when a pass to open up a defence is the better option.

Nah he's not brainless he's just a bit too selfish. He really wanted to score imo. He was fantastic today just a bit too selfish that's all. Hope ETH would have a word or two with him on this.

Nah, don't see it unless he radically changes his game, too many of the chances he gets are relatively low percentage ones from outside of the box. He's a 15 goal max type player.

Assists are where we need to see the big up-turn next season. He's created a lot less here than he did for Ajax.

Today alone he should have buried the easy header and had that unlucky shot saved along with a few others. I take your point it is often edge of box, but it's great he gets into that position often, contrary to the ghost on the other side.

I think he has it in him personally.

He’s looked a lot more explosive recently. The biggest things missing from his game are consistency and decision making, two traits you expect to improve with age and experience thus I think he’ll go up another level next season.

If he's going to suddenly become a goalscoring winger you have to bury chances like that easy header. You have to be constantly getting between the posts to sniff out goals. Guys like Salah don't get bucket loads from the edge of the box, that's not a reliable source game in game out. So he needs to do more of that stuff and crucially score more of them.

Good performance and if he can improve his decision making he will be a real goal threat. Not too worried as both Ronaldo and Nani were also pretty inconsistent around the same age.

Was unlucky not to get a hat trick today. First time I’ve seen him lace the ball to the near post rather than curl it to far post (Twice!). Some great saves by the keeper.

Such a simplistic (and wrong) way to sum up his contribution today.
We can go simplistic or complicated. Either way, he is a frustrating player. Not because he's bad, but because he squanders so many chances. He should be held to a higher standard for missed chances because they are tied to our lack of goals down the stretch, which in turn is jeopardizing our ability to earn a CL spot.
