Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Right lads n lasses, the objective for thursday nights showdown with the massives is clear to me now, we simply must win in the most improper way imagineable. So, they have around 80% possession to our measly 19%, they have like 4 perfectly legitimate goals dissallowed due to shockingly poor refereeing (1 of those goals would be an absolute stunner containing 56 passes and an overhead kick to finish) 3 disturbling unfair sending offs of their players, 34 corners to our 3 and throughout the game they miss 14 clear cut chances and we haven't even had a solitary shot on goal. Then and only then does the miracle happen. It's 99th minute and Citeh are laying seige to our goal just as they have for the previous 98 minutes to pass, Bailly hoofs the ball upfield in the general direction of the one known as microphone head who catches the ball with both hands and preceeds to drop kick/punt the ball towards Rashford who is standing in an offside position - some 18 yards or so - munching on a strawberry cornetto, who then bares down on goal and finishes with absolute aplomb -wherby he quite literally picks up the ball, stuffs it under his right arm and dives over the line Rugby League style, the ref awards the goal and instantly blows the final whistle before Citeh can kick off again. Game over.

I will then purchase the LARGEST bag of popcorn ever assembled by human hands and a 20 crate of Stella, then head back to this thread and watch the fireworks commence. What a night that would be.

I don't think you know how percentages work

How does Bravo not conceding a penalty and not getting carded for a 2 footed tackle on Rooney in the 1st derby fit into the ragspiricy?
Or Michael Oliver allowing Joe Hart to manhandle him while sending off Di Maria for exactly the same thing?

It's remarkable how all supporters seem to think it's only their side get fecked over by the ref. I would question the age of these eejits but grown men spout it continually.

I know, it's pathetic.

It's true in our case though :D I do feel we've been in sum very unlucky this season though. We've had a few offside calls and a few Rojo tackles go our way, but other than that it's been slim pickings (fully aware that selective memory probably plays a part though).

One could say that another bad season for Pep and he'll have 'one foot in the grave'

Although he ain't quite like Robert Huth
Kompany's just too long in the tooth
I came from Bayern to meet City's needs
Now I need Messi and maybe prayer beads

I may be Tiky, Taky and in need of a shave
Bring me Xavi, Iniesta and even that Big Dave
But give me half a chance and this shite season I'll save...

Are those posts seriously from people who post in bluemoon forum, or are they self automated robots? Are they real people is what im trying to get to.

Im a therapist in real life, they sound extremely manic and paranoid, so I am not sure in one forum alone you can have that many posters who think like that.

Are they real people is what I am trying to understand.

Cluster A personalities galore

Spot on. I think maybe a mod or 2 might have Schizoaffective disorder and it probably has a domino effect on what posters think it is "normality". It is impossible for there to be quite such a high number of delusions in each poster.

 Absolutely brilliant.

That really was embarrassing and cringeworthy at the time. Our drugs ban and their drug ban by the FA was another double standard.

Ha! I'm aware that this is a 'take the piss out of City' thread but as you ask....

In two of City's most important games this season we have been absolutely stitched up by referees, Chelsea at home we were denied a stone-wall penalty and Luiz should have been sent off. Spurs at home, denied a stone-penalty which would have seen them reduced to ten men and a pretty certain three points to City. Both games were pivotal. But it isn't just those decisions its the immediate yellow cards against City and the almost uninhibited fouling of the likes of Silva going unpunished, the yellow card given to Sterling when he should have got a penalty...etc. Imagine, Chelsea having three less points and City having five more, the league would be a different kettle of fish.

Conspiracy against City? Do you know what? I'm not sure, it does seem as though in every big game we suffer from refereeing decisions, Sunday being the latest example. And, these things don't even out.

And, as an aside, there are threads on here criticising referees for their decisions affecting United. Honestly, the mind boggles that Utd fans think they are hard done by this season!

City - Bravo should've been sent off and we should've had a penalty.
Chelsea - Luiz should've been sent off.
Arsenal - We should've had a penalty.
Chelsea in the FA Cup - Herrera sending off was ridiculous, especially when you see some of the other challenges in that game.

I couldn't even begin to list the amount of small decisions that the refs have been giving to other teams against us this year. That's just in the bigger games. These things happen all the time to pretty much every club.
The thread you speak of also points out bad decisions made it our favour, last time I was in there it still hadn't balanced it out. I think a lot of fans forget how many decisions we had against us in the earlier part of the season, and nothing really in that time went in our favour. As soon as we got a few decisions opposition fans were up in arms!

The rags thing is all the more silly when you think about the history of football in Manchester. My dad and grandad used to go to both grounds, and so did thousands of others. Travel was expensive, so they watched United at Old Trafford one week, and City at Maine Road the next.

Its the same story in Liverpool.

Yep. That period from roughly October through to December was absolutely ridiculous, with refs wronging us left right and centre. Blatant red cards and penalties not given, onside goals being ruled off, game after game after game. And I do mean 'blatant'. Before and after that period it's been more normal with some decisions going our way and some against, but that 2-3 month period was just incredible. Even in games where we ended up winning it felt like it was despite the referee.

Their pre match thread is entirely about the referee.

It was the same before the Derby at home, saying Clattenburg had been put in place to ensure a Rag victory.

Then Clats screwed us over and they said he was really good

Imagine if they went through half of the mistakes the refs made in our games. Such a pathetic bunch.

Just a reminder to the Blue cnuts of what they used to be before they became a Sheikh's little play thing, got relegated after this game

Oh the irony of a once mediocre club being bought by oil money calling their rivals rags.

Oh btw maybe they should let that go and get some new material seeing as it's been nearly 70 years

The fact grown men on Bluemoon call Utd rags, Arsenal tarquins, and Chelsea chavs, is pretty embarrassing.

Still hilarious watching them claim the entire footballing world has it in for them, and there is an agenda. The same agenda they ridiculed Mourinho for btw.

Double post:

Collymore had it spot on... he refuses to buy into Guardiola's hype based on winning stuff at teams where it is harder not to win... Barca and Bayern.
If he spends £150-200m in the summer and then wins the title, does that make him the worlds best? or does it show him as someone who can win stuff long as you throw millions of pounds at it.... which any manager could do?

IMO he is failing to adapt to the EPL and has no plan B. I dont even think they will win it if he spends millions, because when the going gets tough, he doesnt have a response. I have always said he was overrated massively due to managing the 2 best sides in the world at the time.. and i stick by it.
