The Stain has this draft won unless Tuppet can stop him from the obvious pick. And I don't believe Tuppet can

This has been one draft of surprise upsets. diarm upsets anto, Tuppet upsets diarm, The Stain upset wins over MJJ/crappy. Exciting.

Two relatively newer players make it to the finals!
It's been a great draft Edgar. I don't think there's been a bad match yet?

Fair play for designing and running it!

Romario (Laudrup - Barca) & Gheorghe Hagi (Laudrup left for Real and Hagi arrived in that summer).

The best 3 attackers of WC 94, still my favorite world cup (as it was the first one I watched), what a tournament for individual talent that was.

Mine too. That summer (United 4-0 Chelsea in the FA Cup Final and then USA 94) is when I went fully football mad!

Those 3 plus Bebeto, Stoichkov, Ray Haughton, mental goalkeeper kits and Diana missing the penalty! Best World Cup by a country mile. Actually last years was as close as I've come to enjoying one since.

My first to! I've rewatched the swedish summary of it countless times. Sweden beat Bulgaria 4-0 to finish 3rd. A young Henrik Larsson with the 4th goal. Brolin in the world team. Björklund/Patrik Andersson in defence. Thern/Schwarz in midfield. Kennet Andersson/Dahlin in attack. Ravelli saving 2 penalties in penalty shoot-out against Romania in the QF. We drew 1-1 to Brazil in the group after goals by Andersson and Romario. Then Romario scored with a header late in the semi against us to make the final. Amazing :D
