Feels strangely confident going against PSG this time, definitely have more chance than 2018 given we have Ronaldo now and PSG have been pretty underwhelming this year apart from Mbappe
Most of those are tough teams to beat. I'd question Chelsea's FA Cup draws more than this. Liverpool benefitted from two huge Barca feck ups but I don't think their draws were the easiest.Chelsea's draws:
12/13 13/14 14/15 15/16 16/17 17/18 18/19 19/20 20/21 Round 16 Galatasary PSG PSG Barcelona Bayern A. Madrid QF PSG Porto SF A. Madrid R. Madrid Final City
City's draws:
12/13 13/14 14/15 15/16 16/17 17/18 18/19 19/20 20/21 Round 16 Barcelona Barcelona Dynamo Kyiv Monaco Basel Schalke 04 R. Madrid Borussia M. QF PSG Liverpool Tottenham Lyon Borussia D. SF R. Madrid PSG Final Chelsea
Liverpool's draws:
12/13 13/14 14/15 15/16 16/17 17/18 18/19 19/20 20/21 Round 16 Porto Bayern A. Madrid RB Leipzig QF Man City Porto R. Madrid SF Roma Barcelona Final R. Madrid Tottenham
Man Utd draws:
12/13 13/14 14/15 15/16 16/17 17/18 18/19 19/20 20/21 Round 16 R. Madrid Olympiacos Sevilla PSG QF Bayern Barcelona SF Final
PSG.Who do we play if we get pass PSG?
FM is only a game of course. But that phrase is still absolutely bs mate. Especially for a team who play in the PL, Liga or Serie A. Unlike PSG or Bayern who could put their third string out there and still got a comfortable win top teams in those leagues basically still have to fight tooth and nail for a 3 pts every matches, sometime even a point.I get what you're saying, but the phrase doesn't factor all that in. It's really just saying that the presumption is the two best teams of that particular tournament, with all its storylines, are in the final. If that means you get lucky because the top two teams met early and one got eliminated, you'll face the toughest of the two. Just as an example. I think it's just a silly phrase and you don't need to put too much weight on it. This isn't FM, this is rl. And certain FMisms don't exist in quite the same way.
Also, is this the most convoluted, intransparent drawing method of all time or what? I got instantly confused, and so did the guy whose only job was to pull the right names and put them in a bowl for the actual draw. I don't mind the draw we have, but I would totally understand a redraw, he seemed to get confused who Manchester United and Manchester City are. Some of you guys should visit him and explain the difference.

Agreed, although City's looks suspect since 15/16.Most of those are tough teams to beat. I'd question Chelsea's FA Cup draws more than this. Liverpool benefitted from two huge Barca feck ups but I don't think their draws were the easiest.

What… they’ll say “Toto, it’s racing!”?I imagine UEFA will judge their own feck up in a similar way the FIA did yesterday. Tough luck.
How can they take an hour to just say "Yeah, let's re do it". Even if they aren't, just say no and let people move on. This is hardly rocket science unless they are trying to find a way to rig the draw again to get the same teamsTweet

Sorry can you enlighten me. Why is a redraw being considered? What was the issue with the draw? They need to hurry up and announce they will redraw as people will be booking flights and hotel stays.
Could it be that they aren't very lucky with their draw?Seems that Atletico is less lucky about the draw than PSG or United...

Well, to be frank, right now, if you were them, wouldn't you fancy playing us more than playing Bayern? That's hilarious. They really want to draw us.
Play Jones? We will break PSG. They won't know what's hit them.
He said break PSG not break themselves.Play Jones?
Yeah why wouldn’t they? They got Bayern. It’s only hilarious if are a giggly teenage girl in high school. This is important to them. That's hilarious. They really want to draw us.
Just swap Atletico and PSG, I really want to see us facing Atleti, Cristiano will score hattrick for sure, his favorite opponents in CLTweet

You were at the very end.Was the Chelsea fixture drawn before or after "ball-gate"?
I guess it's better to know what the excuse is before making an official challenge.Tweet

Exactly, so far no one challenged the draw but clubs are demanding an explanationI guess it's better to know what the excuse is before making an official challenge.
1) They added Manchester United to Villarreal's draw pot, even though they could not be paired due to being in the same group.Sorry can you enlighten me. Why is a redraw being considered? What was the issue with the draw?
