Its a £5 billion sale.
There will be no buyer who is ethically any good. Not ineos, definitely not qatar, and absollutely not anyone backed by a us hedge fund.
Once you accept the owners are going to be terrible people, its easier to just think about what is best for the club.
Completely agree.
First post in a long while that explains how I feel.
All the ethical warriors on here just push the agenda that suits their viewpoint.
My viewpoint is I want Utd to win everything, be wonderful to watch and bring some joy into my life as there are plenty of things right now that bring misery.
No one becomes a multi billionaire by being nice. All of them will have screwed over more people that we have had hot dinners.
If you can accept that then you must want the bid that makes us most successful, gives us the best stadium and training ground and gives ius money to compete for the best players.
If that is the Qatari bid then Im all for it.
Also lots of posters keeps saying this means we would actually be owned by the Qatari state and that would be the worst thing ever as they would push their government agenda.
Genuinely asking what that really means as no one actually says so.
What would they do that could be so bad?
