I'll again buy his shorts. Buying outfield player ones is boring.Indeed great skill set, remember his double save in the Arsenal game and Real Madrid. Oozes class
What is wrong with people! You can understand people backing Ronaldo over Messi. But choosing anyone over De Gea is too stupid to not mock. Some Norwegian newspaper ranked Allison as the better keeper.

Excellent point and example. The commentator made a good point during the game. Basically, he said that Spurs seemed to overthink where to put the ball (and took a tad longer to shoot) as they knew they had to do something special in order to score. However, in that situation, it helped DDG even more as he could cover more distance or position himself ideally. It reminded me of our game against Schalke with Neuer in goal
Everton at home has to be up there too... I'd rank that second, with Arsenal away first and Liverpool home third. He was great as usual but the Arsenal Away and liverpool home were better for me.
Got 9.7 vs Arsenal tooAverage caf rating of 9.7 has to be some kind of a record?
It would be safe to say that he's one player that at least 97% of United fan base appreciates.Got 9.7 vs Arsenal too

Klopp is such a camera whore.
Klopp is such a camera whore.
The simple conclusion to that would be - many Spurs fans don't understand footballMany Spurs fans seem to think their attackers just shot the ball straight to De Gea

Agreed 100%We should offer him something ridiculous which other teams won't even entertain for a GK, Sanchez type of wages.
Better than Arsenal a few years ago?Best performance from him in a United shirt, which basically means his best performance ever.
Nothing tops that for me. 14 saves he made that dayBetter than Arsenal a few years ago?
You should change your name yourself. It's giving me PTSD everytime I see that Portuguese cnut's nameHe really should change his name from David to Dhalsim with those stretching feet saves.
Dhalsim De Gea - sounds good
I see your point, but historically, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are so fecking poor on the ball, that any attempt to play tiki taka with them is a recipe for disaster. Lindeloff is a little better but not by muchI agree with the fact that you need the whole team in sync, my point is since Ole has arrived you can tell that the CB's are beginning to split more and when the ball is passed back, I have seen better movement from the CB's to get into space for DDG to pass out short. Final point is that regardless of instructions, it does not justify De Gea hoofing it into the crowd time and time again... even for a long ball side that would be unacceptable - at the very least he should be aiming for one of our players and doing so accurately.

Hard to imagine how anyone could have given De Gea anything less than a 10. There was some moaning in the first half about his distribution, but assuming these ratings were cast after the final whistle it's daft to give him a mere 9.Average caf rating of 9.7 has to be some kind of a record?
larrikan. All of our players should be bowing to the (new) King. Especially after Sunday's performance.

Kind of true though, they had an absolute mare when it came to finishing. Kane had a hattrick of one on ones (the point blank header being his worst miss) and Alli also had three where you'd have expected him to score at least one. Llorente's slice in front of goal was also a let off. Many Spurs fans seem to think their attackers just shot the ball straight to De Gea
