Is he developing into a second striker?
Good god no wash your mouth out - ForestAren't you a Liverpool fan?
Why are you even talking about Martial you weirdo ?
If you'd actually read the thread rather than just cluelessly wading in with insults, you'd know that the reason why I and many others in this thread are talking about Martial is because NK86 introduced the topic in post #737 by saying:
"Alli is not the best of them. That mantle goes to Martial." @NK86
The latest round of Real Madrid interested in Alli rumours surfacing.
I don't take too much notice of the English media rumours but when it appears in the Spanish media which tends to be much better informed then it's time to take more notice.
Real no doubt are interested but they will also know that he will be very hard to get and that the £50m being mentioned is fantasy land, I wouldn't expect Alli to be too interested at this stage of his career either. Maybe in 3 or 4 years if Real come in it would be good for him, but this is too soon.
Depend on people' opinion. Mine is yes, he is the second forward. When Kane moves wide or drops deep, Alli plays in their furthest central position. Is he developing into a second striker?

There is gossip Real Madrid is sniffing around. Do you guys reckon a world transfer fee for Alli "better than Pogba"?
I read the whole thread and I don't care about that, I didn't mention him nor compared him with Alli so why you felt the need to mention him is weird to me.
I would be happy if Madrid pay 50/55 m€ but no more...How much do you think that is his real market price? considering that is a midfielder while Bale was an attacking player. The latest round of Real Madrid interested in Alli rumours surfacing.

It's what his value is to us and I don't think there's any chance Spurs Real reaching agreement.
Well, I do not know if it will be this summer, but his name is not going anywhere. Regarding the possibility of an agreement, it is clear that negotiating with Levy is very complicated but we already know how ended the matter with Modric and Bale.
From what I read he earns 3.65 million euros (I do not know whether net or gross). The issue will come when clubs start doubling his salary. Can Tottenham match any offer? And in case you can not, I imagine that it will be more interesting to sell him abroad than to reinforce a team of the premier, as happened before.
He shouldn't leave Spurs right now. Poch knows how to utilize him and maximize his strengths and he's a critical piece to a team pushing for CL football again. I don't think his all around game is far along yet that he would be successful at a club like Real, not to mention the players he'd be competing against for playing time and that it's not a club renowned for their patience in bedding in a young player.
Maybe in a couple of years he'd be ready to make that type of step, but shouldn't even be a consideration right now.
@GlastonSpur why are you ignoring this? You kept the arguement that Alli has more goals for so long and now that Alli was YPOTY, well Martial won Golden Boy (an international prize) over Alli so that cancels eachother out pretty much.Goals both players have scored in last 1.5 seasons:

That's what he does. A chicken-shit hit and run merchant who disappears when someone makes a post that indisputably punctures his argument and/or whenever Spurs have their perennial collapse.
Teams Martial has scored against in the FAC/LC are West Ham, Everton and Ipswich. Apart from Ipswich they're not really weak.Like for like is the PL and Alli's numbers in this competition are superior, he hasn't really played for us in the LC or FA Cup (a total of circa 100 mins between them) where the opposition is weaker.
Wtf are you are on about? I've already said that I didn't introduce the subject of Martial (in comparison to Alli) into this thread. I've simply commented on the subject, like many others, once it had been introduced.
I couldn't give a rat's arse whether or not you personally have mentioned him or whether or not you personally have compared him to Alli.
Can't fathom why he hasn't been banned. You've got to give it to him though, we've seen many WUMs over the years but none as dedicated and relentless as him and gotten as many bites. Quite unbelievable and pitiable really.
Can't fathom why he hasn't been banned.
He doesn't care now since he based his comparison on incorrect stats. Those stats go against Alli so it's time to move onWell if you didn't before, you surely re-introduced it when quoting me. You mention Martial to me and then you say you don't care about him
Something is fecked up in your brain.

At least we have the block function.

Martial has scored against more European teams too: CSKA, Fenerbahce and Wolfsburg compared to just CSKA for Alli.
Glaston was the one who brought up Alli being the greater goalscorer in all competitions.
Chelsea, City, United - all are better place to be rather than Spurs in the league.I don't think there is anywhere in the PL he would want to leave Spurs for anyway. He will no doubt in the next year or so get another new deal, as Spurs tend to do which will likely take him over the 100k a week barrier.
If he leaves it will only be to one of the big 2 and Real would be the more likely than Barca but the money IMHO would be more than Bale cost.

If you're using the weakened team argument you have to apply to us as well. Most would agree it's not ideal to play in "cup" team when wanting to play to your best. The FA Cup and especially LC are weakened teams, not usually their PL teams, hence why Alli hasn't really appeared in either comp for us. Doesn't Martial have quite a few goals in the domestic cups? Not that they are insignificant and makes much difference but only the PL is like for like.

I'm not ignoring this ... I've simply been busy doing other things, if that's OK with you.
The stats site I quoted - whoscored.com - doesn't include domestic cup competitions for some reason, which I didn't know about. So I'm happy to acknowledge that Martial has scored a few more goals than Alli when these are included.
But in the league, Alli has outscored Martial by 5 goals, plus has 3 more assists.
So all in all, especially considering that Martial plays as an out-and-out forward whilst Alli doesn't (and indeed has played in CM in several games), the original claim that Martial is "easily" a better player than Alli just doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

I think your overestimate Spurs' pulling power. Why would Alli stay at a club with no major honours in over 20 years v a club that has a rich history of honours and tradition that even having under performed for the last 4 years have managed a major honour within the last year.
Alli can be and will be tempted by the big clubs of the premier league, classic case of big fish small pond mentality.
The biggest pull Spurs have - London and even then they are 3rd choice destination behind Chelsea and Arse.
If he wants to progress with his career, he will have to leave Spurs eventually.
You been on that Villa forum?
