I hope Pep was interested cause that would mean he's great.
Expert on Porto are ya?I would rather give a chance to TFM. This signing won't improve our starting line up
Someone was wondering which negative will be found with transfer.I don't understand this transfer. If he's coming to be an understudy for Valencia then why not just recall TFM? What does this mean for him then? Probably the club will see him as a DM. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. If he's coming then it has to be to replace Valencia. We can't go another season with him as first choice.
So the instruction of Valencia is to constantly hit the shins of defenders? He’s been doing that since Fergie. People love to defend mediocrity but Valencia was shocking going forwards towards the end of Fergies reign. Everyone sighed when we lined up with Young and Valencia because we knew there would be no creativity. Now we play them as fullbacks and their creative output is just the same.
Tagline checks out.So our new rightback is a 19 year old that I have never heard off.
That’s my worryHe will be 30 in 11 years.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...rst-summer-signing-manchester-united-trigger/United have moved quickly to sign Dalot amid interest in him from a number of leading clubs throughout Europe including Juventus and Napoli in Italy and the Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
No it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Actually I'm quite excited to see what he can do because I'm sure that anyone is better than Valencia right now but why not just use TFM?Someone was wondering which negative will be found with transfer.
TFM is not an attacking right back, he'll do a job defensively there but he's never going to be an upgrade on ValenciaNo it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Sorry then. Maybe TFM is better uses as CB.No it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Actually I'm quite excited to see what he can do because I'm sure that anyone is better than Valencia right now but why not just use TFM?
He wasn't a main stay in the Palace team, maybe the coaching staff don't think he's quite ready. No it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Actually I'm quite excited to see what he can do because I'm sure that anyone is better than Valencia right now but why not just use TFM?
Oh but they will be. As a psychologist I should find this weird behaviour from our fans fascinating. Except, instead, I find it dull and tedious.https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...rst-summer-signing-manchester-united-trigger/
Can't believe any United supporter can be upset about this.
Possibly Daloch.How does one pronounce his name ? Da-lo or Da-lot ?
TFM wasn't a right back from the start. He's a CB or DMF. Mourinho shouldn't have even tried him in this position from the start imo.No it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Actually I'm quite excited to see what he can do because I'm sure that anyone is better than Valencia right now but why not just use TFM?
Everyone knew about him even before he started playing for Porto's first team. He'd played in the B team and been very good in a few tournaments for the youth teams.Mourinho must still be very well connected at Porto cz this kid played 4 games in the league last season. Surely he must've been told good things about him but I would've preferred someone whos ready to challenge for a starting XI position.
Da-loHow does one pronounce his name ? Da-lo or Da-lot ?
Exactly, he's been scouted by all the top clubs and can be got for less than 20 million. Once we get a top class RW we will be sorted for the RW for next season.TFM has great physical attributes but he's not good enough that we should avoid signing a young talent that the manager and scouts feel has the potential to be a starting XI player for us. I'm assuming if this transfer is completed it would be due to the belief that they believe in Dalot's talent.
Why should we use TFM? We have no obligation to throw young players in to the first team just because they already have a United contract. If there are better alternatives we can sign then that's what we should do.No it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Actually I'm quite excited to see what he can do because I'm sure that anyone is better than Valencia right now but why not just use TFM?
Release clause.Castles says we have a deal in Principle with Porto. How can that be when they just sold Pereira?
What's with the insistence on using a defensive oriented fullback like Fosu-Mensah in the era of Carvajal, Kimmich, Semedo and co. This lad is a proper fullback, a burgeoning thoroughbred, as it were: good in both offense and defense, and potentially very, very good when you consider his skill set and maturity at a young age. Whereas Fosu-Mensah's offensive production is quite erratic — which isn't all his fault, to be fair to him, because he is more of a defensive or midfield stopper who's being asked to play out wide - and not a specialist. No it's not negative at all just a simple thought. Melting for no reason. We need an understudy that may realistically challenge Valencia and he ticks both boxes.I don't understand this transfer.
