Better to be safe, conditions look dreadful.

A real shame . Stay safe though bud.Yes mate. Was going fine until this afternoon. I’ve no idea what’s going to happen tomorrow.
It’s all good. Seeing the destruction around us makes everything else feel insignificant.A real shame . Stay safe though bud.
Yeah I can imagine. Must be surreal. It’s all good. Seeing the destruction around us makes everything else feel insignificant.
It’s a pretty packed schedule, I imagine it’ll be quite tricky. Will it be rescheduled for this season?
Doubt it, calender is already oversaturated. Will it be rescheduled for this season?
I tend to agree, will we even see the new side pods at Monaco ?Doubt it, calender is already oversaturated.
It would have been good to see the new Mercedes sidepods / front wing / floor.
Not sure if Monaco is the circuit you want to bring a revised car to. Seeing as you bring a revised monaco specific steering rack and front/rear wings.
Will have to wait till spainish gp to benchmark the revised Mercedes.
I read no, it will be a 22 race season now with China and Imola cancelled. Which puts it at the same length as last season. Will it be rescheduled for this season?
They could add it if they wanted, there is a month between Belgium and Holland.I read no, it will be a 22 race season now with China and Imola cancelled. Which puts it at the same length as last season.
They're not going to disrupt the summer break. They could add it if they wanted, there is a month between Belgium and Holland.
Last season was 22 races, which was the longest a season has been, this was supposed to be 24. Even without the two cancelled races it's still tied for longest season. They could add it if they wanted, there is a month between Belgium and Holland.
Keep safe mate. We’re in Faenza 20 minutes from the track and it’s mental. The river has risen unbelievably in the last few hours. I felt like we were quite high up but the shop owners are all barricading their doors. About five minutes walk away and peoples cars a literally under water.
Never mind. As I’ve been writing this the water has taken over the road outside

So what now for RB?Aston Martin and Honda to announce partnership tomorrow according to Gazzetta.
https://www.gazzetta.it/Formula-1/23-05-2023/f1-honda-dara-il-motore-all-aston-martin-dal-2026.shtml
RB powertrains will be making their 2026 engine, and partnered with FordSo what now for RB?
RIP RBThat’s a real slap in the face for Mercedes

Unlikely, they'll get some leeway advantage because it's a new engine supplier to F1RIP RB
They have their own powertrain department that will produce their own powertrain from 2026 onwards. So what now for RB?
How is that? When AM deal with mercedes runs out in 2025?That’s a real slap in the face for Mercedes
BGP 001?No championship has been won with a customer powertrain. Its only ever been the works team.
Shows they have more faith in Honda than Mercedes. Seeing as they are probably going to be the only 2 realistic choices in 2026 for customer teams, not counting the Haas-Ferrari partnership. How is that? When AM deal with mercedes runs out in 2025?
Good call. Forgot about that.BGP 001?
I think they have ambitions to be the best, and they’re not going to get there, or be allowed to get there, if they have to rely on the engines Mercedes allows them to have.Shows they have more faith in Honda than Mercedes. Seeing as they are probably going to be the only 2 realistic choices in 2026 for customer teams, not counting the Haas-Ferrari partnership.
Hopefully the field going from 4 to 6 engine suppliers will turn out to be a good thing, but it could really backfire in terms of competition same as 2014.
They will be the honda works team. Its a no brainer for AM. Normally with a new substantive rule change, a different team comes out on top. Every chance it could be AM-Honda. Sensible move by AM.Shows they have more faith in Honda than Mercedes. There's loads of old F1 races on youtube. They're never there for long (when it's not posted by F1) but every single race of the 80's or 90's would be the highlight of the season if it were to take place now.
I thought it's just nostalgia, but F1 was simply much better before after watching this. Incredible racing.
