I thought Better Call Saul's finale was crap but this might have been even worse. I am lost for words.
This place only ever deals in polarising descriptions. Either someone says it's brilliant, or it's crap. Why can't a series or episode simply be decent, or average?

I mean, if you actually list all the things you've seen which genuinely are crap, and then compare this to that, I'm sure you'll find it wasn't really crap at all..... why can't folks just settle with saying it's okay? Gotta go overboard....

What are you assuming I'm going overboard for the sake of it ??? Why can't you just accept that I found it very bad without making a generalization about the Caf. It is what I thought about it, simple as that. When it's good I'll say it and it's shit I will too. I have never judged people's opinion regarding music, movies, tv shows or not. One can say whatever one wants.

Really don't know what to make of that .Seemed so rushed . And whats with Barbera ,that's not how i remember her. Season 2 looks promising but i wouldn't be surprised if it does not see the light of day.

I did not care for the finale much. It wasn't bad, but just a lot of stuff that barely made sense or went unexplained. A few forced things too, like Bruce finding that tunnel. I did enjoy Barbera, for the first time this season I might add.

Just saw the finale. I skipped from episode 15 to 22, I couldn't be bothered to watch it. But the finale was decent -- thoroughly enjoyable.

Nygma's transformation and succumbing to his inner demons was interesting to watch.

I feel like if this show had 5 writers on each episode, 1 of them would be trying super hard and the other 4 are desperately trying to get fired.

The only salvageable piece of the entire episode was the Bruce scenes.

Decent series all in all. Entertaining enough but not one that you are going to remember in five years time.

Would probably benefit from not having to wrap up a case pretty much every episode (this got better towards the end of the season) as it leaves less scope for character development and the like. It was a bit disjointed and rushed in places too but the fact that the season was extended can't have helped in that regard.

Some moments of humour and plenty of action which makes it more than watchable but I wouldn't complain if it didn't come back for a second season.

The season finale aired in the UK last night.

This is easily one of the worst shows I've seen. I'm so glad it's finished.

Having said that, I probably will end up watching season 2 when it airs. :(
I never have and never will get this and there's so many people that do it.

"The show is so shit" and "How bad is this " yet for some reason continue to watch through it and then come online to shit all over it.

Not really solely aimed at you mate but I see it so often (more so on here obviously where almost every show in the history of television is apparently shit), just find it strange. If I watched a show and thought it was shit, I wouldn't bother watching it again.

No worries - it's a fair comment. I think partly as I really like the Batman mythology and partly because I think it'll get better. I imagine it's how Liverpool fans feel.

There comes a point when you feel you've invested so much time in a show you may as well see it through and find out what happens. It's a kind of morbid curiosity, like see a train derail.

I don't hate it though, I think it's entertainingly crap.

Yea agree on both parts. It's just a nonsense show. Entertainingly bad is a great way to describe it.

Indeed. I personally hate stopping halfway through a season, even when it's shite. I did not find Gotham shite, although the finale was a bit dire.

Particularly enjoyed
Bruce 'firing' Alfred and throwing him out. He's his fecking legal guardian he can't throw him out
.

Also enjoy The Jok-- I mean Jerome.

It's been pretty good so far. Still find the GCPD scene absolutely ridiculous but then again it's Gotham. Nice to see many new villains but for some reason I missed Penguin in this one, I want to see how he reacts to all this.

It is a letdown if we assume big character's fates are unchangable. So, for instance, if Joker, Penguin, whoever else, can't die until some possible future 20+ years ahead when Batman will be their nemesis.

Takes a bit of fun off.

I think they handle that very well by introducing other characters or sending someone on a different trajectory. For instance, Barbera.

I think the point of the show is to develop the characters to become what they are in the future so understandably they can't kill them off. It's still fun to watch for me, seeing how things link up.

Not sure what happened ,but this is how Gotham should have been. Enjoyed the first two episodes and looking forward to how Penquin reacts to all this.

This show is pretty boring. The only redeeming character is 'Jerome'/Joker. I watched the first two episodes of the first season and could not be bothered, then I heard about Joker and decided to skip straight to Season 2.

What the feck

Way too many things going on - what's with that Tigress look, that Alfred/Lee was weird, and the Penguin scene was different from what I had expected. I saw the Jerome part coming though, the show was going to play with the Joker idea. And there's some Court of Owls stuff again from Theo. They better bring out the new GCPD head soon and Hugo Strange and Mr Freeze. Maniax is about dead now.

Well that was unexpected.Guessing there will be a lot of unhappy viewers out there. The blind mans curse was a good idea though .Keeps the possibilities alive.

So much for that.

I liked that it happened, but I also liked Joker character way more than 'Theo'.

Ah, fek it, they should go all out. Gordon taking the first mantle of Batman, Wayne as a Robin. Alfred as a bazooka wielding Alfred.

Proper disappointed that Jerome died, acted the role brilliantly. Was cop out to have that you will spawn a new wave bollocks. The final scene where his hair tints green and his skin pales was a brilliant 'homage' though. Some are saying he isn't dead but I don't see how.

Hopefully they find some fecking dumbass way to resurrect him because he acted the role perfectly. If he wasn't so good I'd have thought the curse/new wave thing was a decent way to touch on the whole Joker thing.

EDIT: Where's Ra's Al Ghul when you need him ffs

Just watched it, never saw that coming.

My first thought was that Jerome was never the joker, he was simply the person who inspired the joker. That's the vibe I got when they showed people watching footage of him and taking on his laugh and doing crazy shit. His madness will inspire and birth the actual Joker.

We'll see though, possible he isn't even dead. feck knows but good twist.

Wow. Just caught up with this - of the 4 super hero shows last season, I rated this the worst, even behind what I felt was the worst season of the Arrow.

This season, it's easily the best out of the 4 (yes it's had two more episodes than Arrow and Flash) - I'd never though I'd say that. Jerome was brilliant- completely transformed the show. The show is shocking.... I hope it doesn't take a downturn after this.

I've watched this from the beginning and loved it despite its numerous flaws, the guy who plays the Penguin is brilliant. This season has improved dramatically.
