England’s batting is too good. With the pitches & small grounds, I’d back them to chase down any target.

Not sure what's surprising. Pakistan bowling conceding 350 twice or Pakistan scoring 350 twice.

Wicket taking bowlers are going to be massive in this WC . India did the right thing by ditching Ashwin and banking on wrist spinners . You can't defend any score bowling good length on these pitches

England are really good at chasing a total, but not convinced by them defending one.

England won't win the WC.
Having semis directly works to their favour. Would've been nice to see quarter finals as well.

You can't mug good teams like the way they do in crunch games. Good bowling should come to the fore unless the conditions are really bad.

Strange thing to say considering they are number 1 in the world and I am pretty sure England have won more games defending totals than most other teams.

Morgan has been banned for the next ODI, guess Buttler will come back for him and captain the side

30 overs in
Less than 6/over at Trent Bridge. Not sure that’s enough.
Need a big acceleration this next 20

58 runs of the last 10 overs not lost a wicket, need to treat the last 15 overs as a t20

England have exploded a few times here (vs India notable), but that looks at a minimum 60 runs light if not 100.

If Roy stays in for any period of time 341 is no trouble, saying that Vince, Root & Denly don’t have the power of Hales, Bairstow and Morgan who were key when England made the record 481 on this ground

Still no closer to knowing which bowler will miss out, Wood and Curran bowled well. Willy offers left arm which might leave Plunkett as the one who misses out

Pioneers of modern day batting. England should follow in their footsteps.

Both indicate its going to be a snooze fest World Cup. Shame really as I was looking forward to it. Been off work watching a few of the England v Pakistan games on the telly. Have literally dozed off watching both teams batting.

Junaid Khan must be the only player in all WC squads that can't bat, bowl nor field.
