Holier than thou attitude when they're both rotten to the core.He knows what the City fans want to hear. Them and Liverpool fans are the net spend kings.

No chance Grealish is listening to Pep's gibberish.Cringe photo if I ever saw one.
Can see the broken promise angle but surely you see why he'd do that for one of the top clubs in the world? He's hardly hopped over to Everton. Re the rest of the post, you should be happy he signed an extension especially after you almost got relegated and in doing so ensured that his boyhood club got 100 fkin mil for him.He could have left last year instead of signing the contract and we wouldn't hold it against him. Or even that time when Levy was in for him. We understand that he's outpaced the club a long while ago and we've been blessed to keep him this long as you say.
It's specifically because he signed that 5 year contract after we almost got relegated and expressed his desire to see out this project and that this is his city, his home etc that makes it disappointing. He didn't need to do any of that. We've made significant strides and we really thought he'd be the one pushing us on.
If i get paid that much, playing for City is my dream comes true.I just love to see a player finally get his dream move, like he said it was a dream come true and I believe him. I bet my ass on Jacky boy watching City playing their hearts out when he was like 10 years old and telling his mum he wanted to go there when was a big boy pro.
To be fair he’s lived so many of his dreams already, can’t dispute the lad Champion’s League/Premier League competing football.I just love to see a player finally get his dream move, like he said it was a dream come true and I believe him. He ensured we got 100 mil just as much as he ensured we didn't get 130m+. The club's hands were tied, as he would have tried to force a move to United for 60m or something similar had we not included the clause. He was hardly being benevolent. Can see the broken promise angle but surely you see why he'd do that for one of the top clubs in the world? He's hardly hopped over to Everton. Emotions aside, in the last few yrs, he's led your promotion, saved you from relegation in the first season up and then stayed another season where you established yourselves more while signing a contract that ensured you get 100mil when he left. He's done most things right I'd say
"I'm so happy you came here, so so happy. Happy new year."No chance Grealish is listening to Pep's gibberish.
Exactly. City like to move the ball around but jack likes to hog it. They should have gone for kane imoDon't even think he'll fit in well for them.
No chance at all. Grealish is surely up there with the least intelligent players in the league, so this whole picture just screams 'dumb kid sent to headmaster - again.'No chance Grealish is listening to Pep's gibberish.

That was proper. But they need 4 players to replace Grealish?Find this quite a strange video for him to come out and state candidly the fee and release clause etc.

Yep. Agree.15 years ago Fergie would have made sure he came to United. I couldn’t care less arguing about his ability, he’s an absolute baller and Old Trafford would have adored him.
It hurts.
There's never an end to the what he could have done scenarios. He got you 100mn but he could have got 130. He gets 130 and he could have waited to see if you can get CL. He does that and so on and so on. You're blaming him for the clause saying you could have got 130mn while admitting he could have easily left for 60mn. Why's that not seen as a positive? He ensured we got 100 mil just as much as he ensured we didn't get 130m+. The club's hands were tied, as he would have tried to force a move to United for 60m or something similar had we not included the clause. He was hardly being benevolent.
Again, it isn't really the leaving for trophies aspect of it, but the timing. In comparison, there was no ill will toward Young and he was welcomed back with open arms. He left us when we were clearly on the way down (we'd just scraped survival), and gave finishing in the top 4 a right good go for 3 seasons in a row. He could have tried to force a move at any time then, as apart from Ronaldo he was the best winger in the league between 07-10. And he wasn't even a Villa fan or profess any belief in projects are anything like that!
The PR are out in force trying to change the narrative that Jack would have chosen United in the blink of an eye had we been in for him.Tweet

"I don't give shitty jobs... if a good man comes to me and says 'Pep, thank you for the opportunity and continued support in the work related arena, but I've done that, I want to be better myself, I want to move on.' Then I can make that dream come true, AKA, for you."Tweet

Yeah that’s bollocks. Grealish has made numerous comments about United over the years, says Old Trafford is his favourite stadium etc.Tweet

I meant British fee not world record fee.Maybe I'm getting old (relatively) but I just can't be bothered to watch many of Aston Villa's matches.
He's not a world record fee. And he's definitely not as good as Eden Hazard despite the overrating on the caf
I’ve watched him play and he draws in fouls everytime. End of the day football is about scoring goals to win goals. Why do you think Pep wants to dominate the ball and have higher percentage on the ball? Football is about the numbers.this is an example of a lot of the problems we have here in the UK, looking at stats and thinking they mean much.
This. Don't get me wrong, he's a very good player, but the hyperbolic melodrama about him is ridiculous. Some really embarrassing takes in here
They signed Jack Grealish, not second coming of Zinedine Zidane. Get a grip
Oh no poster boy and lifelong United fan Graelish didn't want us then?Tweet
