What is a hater? I don't rate the guy, he gets praised by many for running around a lot. He's end product often leaves a lot to be desired and apart from the odd moment of quality, he's far to wasteful when given opportunities. Does that make me a hater?
Bunch of clowns who want him to fail and will no doubt be on again if he doesn't have a good game to to tell us how fecking shit he is.

Sad to see people actively wanting him to fail but there you go.

Yeah I don't agree with people wanting him to have a poor game whilst in a Utd shirt as it will ultimately affect us but I also don't get why anyone who doesn't think Jesse is good enough is labeled a "hater".

Who wants him to fail - us "haters" want United to win - all the Lingard fanboys want is to see their precious boy on the field.

The last time Lingard started and we were leading when he went off the field was Boxing Day against Sunderland

Where are the bunch of clowns who are hoping that he fails? I'd like you to point them out because I can't see anyone hoping for such a thing.

No problems with him starting, Rashford is more dangerous off the bench anyways.

Everyone just needs to grow up to be honest in my opinion to be fair
Jess included. Needs to cut his shitty little schoolboy handshakes out and learn how to finish more chances he gets.

EDIT - I look a bit stupid. Good finish. Well played Jesse.

So absolutely no haters in the whole forum then.
They're posters who think he isn't good enough for united but everyone will want him to have a good game as it will increase our teams chances of winning the final.
It's just unfortunate he often lets us down, let's hope he doesn't today!

It really is a subjective term.

I used it to describe those that don't think he's good enough to be a squad player on Manchester United because "he doesn't do enough" and ignore the fact that this manager, and the previous manager see some type of value in the "type" of work rate and pace Jesse gives the team.

Yup. He's shite at finishing. He's more times than not...a poor play creator... He was Shite in his first league game this season.

Yet his manager still gives him minutes over...Ashley Young at RW. It's not because Jesse is friends with Marcus and Paul. It's not because he thinks Jesse is a good dancer.

He rates him.

I do too (squad player)

I apologize if my use of the term "haters" riled anyone up. I should have said "the fans that don't rate Jesse Lingard as a viable Manchester United squad player".

Tbf dude Jose hasn't picked him that much recently, he only played when mhiki was adapting and is only playing now because he is injured.
He is playing because other than youth players there is no one else, being better than Ashley Young is not exactly an accomplishment.
Having said all that I'm sure everyone else that shares my opionion will agree, we hope he has a good game and produces

No such thing as a 'hater'. It's a childish internet term.

You mean like fanboy?

While I agree, in this age of the internet where we can't tell what lies behind the words one types on the screen (seriously...are you saying someone doesn't dislike Jesse on Manchester United because he dabs, or because his skin color is just a tad too brown) there have arisen words to try to describe posters.

Saying there is no such thing as a "hater" isn't something that can be proven, so I'll say I disagree with you.

Yup 'fanboy' too. Both are pathetic and when people use such bollox terminology, they aren't worth debating with. So, so pathetic it's untrue.

There definitely are haters around here. A ton of them in fact. They don't like it when it's pointed out though.
