Was also the good kind of keep it simple, there's the version of keep it simple which is turn around and pass it back to the CBs and the keep it simple Mainoo displayed which is picking the right pass at the right time.I thought he done really well when he came on. Kept it simple and linked up well with his teammates. A few more cameos off the bench here and there will be great for him and his development.
I think physically at the same age Jude was a fair bit more advanced. No shame in it. I’d love to see players like Mainoo go into the championship as a starter for a season or two to see how they do instead of playing juniors but it looks like he’s going to be getting minutes here and will be brought along in a slow and well planned program. If you’re getting minutes here at that age you’re obviously a super prospect.Jude is as much a product of opportunity and circumstance as he is of ability. I don’t see this guy as less talented.
In my opinion, he's an 8. Though I wouldn't be too surprised if he developed into a 6 when he's a lot older. For the people that have seen more of him, is he more of a number 6 or an 8?
Im fairly sure u16 and below he was an attacker / AM. He got moved back in the older groups. He’s got great ability on the ball and he seems to have a bit of steel about him too. I’d say he’s an 8For the people that have seen more of him, is he more of a number 6 or an 8?
Oh come on now.Jude is as much a product of opportunity and circumstance as he is of ability. I don’t see this guy as less talented.
He isn't wrong in my opinion.Oh come on now.
Not sure he'd make it at the very top as an 8 but if he can keep improving the defensive side of his game then I think he could be an absolutely top class DM personally. In my opinion, he's an 8. Though I wouldn't be too surprised if he developed into a 6 when he's a lot older.
He was superb in most youth cup games he played in, the season when we won it. Think it was last season? Or maybe the one before?@Adnan wasnt it you that had a clip of him when he was playing in one of the junior cups? He was pretty much our most dangerous player from what I remember seeing.
We won the FA youth cup last season. Great to see Garnacho and Mainoo get fast tracked on the back of it, as it should be at any club that prioritises youth (and has places in the team up for grabs) like we do.He was superb in most youth cup games he played in, the season when we won it. Think it was last season? Or maybe the one before?
