This Madrid team is performing at a seriously incredible level right now. 20 wins in a row which is a record and they're 4 away from matching the world record. 75 goals in 20 games? It's just phenomenal.

Don't think so, Barça have been poor and especially inefficient in away games this season.
Well i hope so because i bet on that. I expect the highly motivated Messi from the past weeks. But you do have a point about their away form.

He's been conducting Barça's attacks from around the centre circle, but just now did have a decent shooting chance in a dangerous area, great first touch to fashion it but weak shot straight at the GK.

What the fck... Getafe player with the most blatant handball ever trying to stop Messi from dribbling thru their box (maybe not visible from the ref's pov?), nothing given...

Lafita with a great action and shot, what a save from Bravo. Lafita always seems to enjoy playing the Big Two, whether it's for Zara or Getafe.

He seemed to score every time he played Real Madrid at one stage.

Messi with a great through ball, Xavi an inch away from connecting and likely scoring there.

Messi hitting the crossbar with a free-kick... again... unbelievable. That's the 3rd or 4th this season from free-kicks alone.

Seems like we have a winner here. The ref has made up his mind in the second half, we just need to wait for Barca to score.

Pre-emptive complaining about the referee in a game where he denied Barcelona a stone wall penalty? Calm yourself.

You can see the quality of Luis Enrique when he fails to beat a team managed by Cosmin freakin Contra. That missed penalty call by ref was atrocious though

Missed the first half but based on the second half, Barcelona deserved nothing. Shocking again, they have real problems.

Barça may need to start playing 4-4-2 with a striker like rest of the world

They need their midfield to start doing it's job so Messi doesn't have to drop so deep (he basically played at the half way line in the second half) to cover for them.

It's incredible how a club can go from the blueprint for perfect organisation on the pitch to a completely dysfunctional bunch of talented individuals in such a short time. And it looks like every new manager is worse than the one before. There's still too much individual quality in the team to drop to a level where they get into real trouble, but I can't see them winning a CL tie against Real, Bayern Chelsea or Atletico without some sort of well working tactic.

In every game since APOEL away Suárez has been playing centrally and as most advanced player on the average position charts; frankly he has impressed more on the wings (v Almería for example), he just can't cope with the reduced spaces in that centre. Evident again today.

Why? Cesc was a big let down, his start to his Chelsea career doesn't change that.
He was a let down because he wouldn't pander to their tiki taka shit. Xavi and Iniesta basically just pass the ball around aimlessly these days with zero creativity. Not sure, what's the point of Rakitic at all. Doesn't do anything defensively or going forward.

aye and Chelsea will be wishing they'd kept Torres.
Completely different situations. Stupid comparison.
